Hey there felow druids,
Guess what! Tomorrow is PATCHDAY!
Not that it's good news for all of us, but for PvE Feral DPS it's pretty good news, Primal Gore!
Soo now the big question: What talents to change?
Soo I came up with this as the ultimate PvE DPS Build:
Either
3/3 Improved Mangle and 4/5 Furor
OR
2/3 Improved Mangle and 5/5 Furor
Is 2 energy a lot per mangle a lot? Is the 1 point in Furor neglectable because of the GCD?
I don't know, you tell me WoWhead ;)

Also, there's no real DPS advantage to moving faster in raids
Fought alot of moving bosses, I see?
Any serious feral-druid has realized that ferocious bite has a very low value nowadays with only 75% crit. What you'll want to have is
this

Any druid without iLotP or SI, are purely egotistical and not of any worth. If you can't help the raid, you don't need to come at all.

Why is everyone taking improved Mark in all of their builds. I bet that some druid is either mainly resto or offset is resto and can provide that 2% stats without using 2 points that could go into something usefull.

Check the new talent.
Also, with 54% crit raid buffed, if I am not biting, what am I doing with the combo pts? Letting them sit until I need to refresh roar or rip? I can typically get a bite in at least once per rip while maintaining roar, mangle and rake. Why wouldn't I want to buff bite?
It's far more important to keep Rip, Savage Roar and Mangle up at all times. With the new glyphs and talents, this will become a bit harder (as the mangle-glyph isn't optimal dps anymore)

Lol 3/3 Protector of the Pack in kitty form? What are you? Blind?
I'll stick with the 4/5 furor and I'm in a guild with lots of druids, so I dont need iLotP ;)
thanks all

The AoE cap is very high. You won't hit it with single- or even double-pack pulls in instances. You will hit it, maybe, with the double micro-spider-type pulls. I'm keeping the 30% on swipe.
I have never taken Survival Instincts in my DPS spec. There's nothing that would happen to me in a 25-man raid that would be saved by popping SI that wasn't my fault and totally avoidable.

That's mine for now. The way I looked at it is that the trees are exactly the same except for one change in Feral and one change in Restoration.
In feral, we now need another point for Primal Gore.
I took it out of Feral Charge. Other options are -10% damage on swipe or less points in the top-tier talents. I'm not sure I'm happy with losing Charge, but I'm going to try it as it doesn't contribute to DPS directly.
In restoration, we now need 2 points for Improved Mark of the Wild.
I took them out of Furor. In PvE, I can wait for 40 energy.
I still hate not having Swiftness, but oh well. Pure DPS is pure DPS.

Basically it sacrifices that small boost to a low priority attack in favor of increase mobility and survivability
The better your gear gets, the more you're going to be using FB. As you can generate CP faster, you can get 5CP FB in between your Rips and your SRs. I wouldn't deprioritize +15% damage on something that crits (without it) for >10k. You'll get used to not running fast (plus everyone else is running at 100% anyway ). You shouldn't take damage that NI would save you from in a raid in the first place -- the encounters aren't designed around Druids or anyone having incoming healing buffs.
Feral Charge -- I stared at that point for a long time. I don't know if I'm going to relish not having it but I just couldn't see where it was better to take that over a pure DPS-increasing talent. Plus, it opens up a slot on my Cat bar. There's something to be said for that.

true enough I guess. I just like being fast.

I see many people have spent those 5 points into +15% to FB. I don't see it as a good talent now for 5 points, since it's not a guaranteed crit on bleeding targets anymore.

5 talent points for a spell you use once every 'rotation' could definately be argued against :P Much like Genesis for boomkins. But I kinda like the buff myself.
This build
is what I'm looking at just a bit undecided on the last 3 points.
Possibly
This
but i'm not sure how useful a different loadout could be :P I'v enot seriously considered kitteh for a good 2 months or so.

Same, 5 points for something that
might
happen in that percentage is too much.
Anyway, tonite with 0 points in feal aggression I
beat my power level
. :D
