There's no way that graph can be right.
The obvious flaw being that crusade is 1/2 1hws, therefore the tps should be half of it per point.
We can't live in 3.0 forever! The graph is correct enough.

hmm.. all these builds are nice but im bought back to divinity. Lot of peopel are saying to stay clear as it will just mean more overheal. But ive heard that ulduar will be seeing more bosses hitting like patch, 20k's every <5 seconds. Surely this extra healing, even 5%, could come in handy.
However, i cant confirm whether what i heard about ulduar is true, it may well not be :S in which case please dnt shoot me down, im only stating what ive heard :)
It can come in handy, just not often enough to be anything more than a filler. We have better talents to spend points in. 20k damage every <5 sec is only slightly over 4k DTPS. -One- healer (
any heroic geared
) can heal through that for several min.

I think youre missing the point that DPS is scaling faster than our TPS, thus you are actually helping my arguement by stateing DPS is there to make sure the boss goes down quickly.
What youre missing is that it is not a matter of pumping out a bit more DPS. It is more a matter of not letting DPS catch you, watching them get eaten, the boss comeing back onto you, and haveing an overall raid loss of 4-6k DPS becuse Salvation was on CD or any other number of things. So youre missunderstanding the importance, be it from being a more casual player that parties with casual DPS, or just not really haveing ever had well geared DPS in your groups that studied their rotations enough to give you issies at 8k TPS. And to be honest that isnt much of a problem in current content.
Once you get into Ulduar 10-25 hardmode and DPS starts getting geared, 5% overheal from your 12k heal spamming healers will look less like some kinda awesome, and more like filler as you see the DPS slowly catch upto your threat.
The
MAIN
role of a tank is to not allow the boss to eat the raid, everything else is a means to that end.

Balrof, bosses in Ulduar do hit hard. Some of them very much so.
Assuming that there is little variation in boss fight durations, would you rather let your healers get 5% more heal for 'free' or pump out a little more damage and shave a couple seconds off the boss fight?
Granted that healers tend to overheal a lot in wrath, the incoming nerf to Spirit should start to curb that tendency. Also overhealing is not too much of a concern, unless the healers start to go oom.
What you may do depends on your healers. My guild uses holy plds and resto shamans, so they won't be too affected by the Spirit change. However. If you are looking at this talent to help your healers with their mana, it won't. It may seem like it at first, but the healers will not be casting 5% less heals and down ranking is not an option. There will either be no stress, or they will be spamming.

It is not really a huge deal. If somebody likes/wants the talent, they should be able to take it. A lot depends on your other raid members. If you are able to tank without your dps threat-capping themselves, you may as well pick it up, you'll just have to see how your raid performs in Ulduar. I probably misunderstood what you said the first time. I usually do not bring it up unless somebody mentions faulty reasons for taking it. The most common are that it adds EH (it does not) or that the healers will be casting 5% less (they will not).

I read it all, but only the last paragraph applied to Divinity. Some of what I said was more or less a re-hash of yours, depending on other raid members, and why I could see why others would take it. If you're asking because I basically repeated what you said at one point, I do that at times so the person knows I read their stuff. Though I guess it can have the opposite effect lol.

Im not sure why someone that pugs raids wants to view peoples armory while haveing some odd facination with postcount. If I were pugging id think differantly about divinity too.
My build right now is 51/20 as im attempting to solo AQ20.
