Weighting score points listed on the Filtering section using same Class and Build than Item Comparison Tool doesn't reflect the same amount of points for the same item.
Example:
Item filtering + Weighting
&
Item Comparison Tool

I've been having some problems using the stat weights when sorting gear for my leveling priest. In fact the sorting by score sometimes show inaccuracies for instance the gloves list is showing as #1 21.17, #2 21.27, #3 21.43 and #4 21.77.
The difference is not big but it puzzles me nevertheless on how the sorting actually works.
the url for my filter using the "dwarf priest" weights is:
http://www.wowhead.com/?items&filter=maxle=200;maxrl=78;ub=5;gb=1;cr=131;crs=1;crv=0;ma=1;gm=3;wt=23:123:61:24:103:96:77;wtv=74:60:100:54:35:15:-100#hands
Any help or insight on what would be causing this sorting?

At first glance I'm not having that problem, maybe it's your browser cache?
And things like this are prefered in the Site Feedback most of the time.

You clicked the column to sort in ascending order.
The
inaccuracies
aren't originating from wowhead.
PS, Malgayne, at the Paladin forums in the weightings sticky there we have had new weightings for DPS for nearing 2 months now, and much much better weightings for Prot. Im wondering why you guys made the sticky? Pretty soon the weights are going to be obsolete again.

Thanks for your replies.
@quest
i am using the sort descending order and although the initial 4 positions seem to have a sorting issue, from position 5 to 25 they seem ok in most cases as the scores vary from 18.72 to 10.66 which is coherent with the DESC sorting i'm using.
@blademeld
i'll clean my browser cache to see if that is causing it

Malgayne just has other priorities, you can always report your post to get more attention.
However, I do feel that your suggestions are very lacking, they don't have a direct source (you mention several but not one solid) and that they have mistakes in them (I've often discussed this).

Thats ridiculous. Its been 2 months. He and his peers run this site. This is part of that. They created a thread for people to spend time gathering data and setting up new weights. Why do I need to do that? Its in the thread they set up and asked for! lol?

I feel the current weights are lacking far more than what I have created, and the DPS weights are perfectly fine except you disagree on the DPS scale, yet have not supplied, in that thread, new ones. You tell me to supply links to sources and that I am lacking, yet I see no sources from you with your disagreements in that very thread either.
Ill gather some links later today.

Which isn't a credible source.

The difference is I supplied math and basic logic.
And that it's your burden to prove they're right, not mine to prove them wrong.

Honestly, we just got sidetracked. We posted the threads because the stat weights were in desperate need of updating, but tracking down the sources, verifying them, and making sure they weren't wildly outlandish required that we have some theorycrafters on staff who actually know their way around EVERY class—and we just don't. We went back over these just a few days ago in the hopes of updating them again, but everyone saw that we didn't update the weights properly for 3.1, and as such no one had any motivation to post weights for 3.2 (because what was the point if we weren't going to use them?). Just poor handling on my part, and I apologize.
As far as the sorting problem, that is in fact a bug. Spotted it yesterday, should be fixed now.
Also, blademeld, I love you but you have a knack for talking down to people. It's okay, he's just trying to help. :P
