It's been a while since I've been here so I hope my skills at role-play have not diminished (Not that I had much), but I'm going to risk it anyway!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It has been a quiet day so far on the ship Silver's Glory, the crew of the pirate sailing ship relaxing on the deck, taking advantage of the calm waters and bright, warming sun.
Well, most of the crew were at least, the buccaneer's known as Ceada and Ithua Splinterhoof had been looking at the map and compass for hours, trying to find out where in the South Seas the ship was!
"What about there?" Ceada asked.
"No, or we would be able to see the Broken Isles from here." Ithua replied
"What about there?" Ceada asked, pointing to a different part of the map.
"No, if we were that close to Plunder Isle, we would be at the bottom of the ocean by now."
"There?"
"No..."
Suddenly the crew heard a loud explosion, causing the crew to look towards the east, where they could see the Alliance ship The Bleeding Sparrow, and the Forsaken ship The Oblivion, both of which were in the middle of a battle between each other.
Soon the Silver's Glory was caught up in the battle and the three ships began to sink, each fatally struck.
Soon enough the crew's of all three ships somehow managed to wash up on the same island, at three different points.
"Great... now where are we?" Ceada asked.
"I have no idea..." Ithua responded, looking up to see a large island...
The island was Plunder Isle!

Nadaran leaned against the rail of the ship, watching the Bloodsail Buccaneers' home island approach.
Now this could be a very dangerous place to be,
the Draenei thought with a grimace on his face. Caution. He rubbed the brand on his wrist. Very dangerous indeed.

"Everyone okay?" Ceada called, noticing several bodies, all dead on the shoreline, she knew everyone wasn't but she wanted to make sure there were survivors besides her and Ithua.
Ithua on the other hand was already scouring the wrecked ship for her equipment, finding her bow she picked it up and grabbed Ceada's runeblade Shatter, which Ceada had named after one of her victim's fates while in the Lich King's control.
"I'm fine," Ithua replied tossing her friend her weapon.
"Where do we go now?" Ceada asked.
"Anywhere we won't be shot," Ithua replied, but chances were there was nowhere safe on the island...

Anne Riptide

"Well, that's not good."
Light ocean breeze plucked at her white sailcloth shirt drawn taut against her chest by a knot exposing her midriff. Her pants were baggy and hung loosely off her hips on a belt left askew, an effect that would have been mimicked by her shirt had she not cinched it as she had. The woman planted a black leather, silver buckled boot on the prow of the small life boat, leaned on her knee with crossed arms, and stared at the shore. The wind caught and played with her shoulder length hair, black like approaching storm clouds. Her eyes flashed like lightning and her teeth shone in the sun. From a holster on her belt hung a primed musket, in a sheathe on the other side a long knife, and in her hand a tall metal staff like a lightning rod, tipped with a sea blue stone that glowed with a faint but primal light.
She narrowed her eyes, watching several figures mill about the beach. She glanced back at the bottom of the boat, watching in concern as water continued to swamp it from a hole she could not patch. Frankly, it was a miracle she had managed to sail this far in it. She looked to the beach once more and suddenly belted out a short laugh. "Well, not much of a choice then." Standing tall, she waited for the rolling waves to bring her to land.
Character:
Anan Drem
Location:
Eastern Beach, Plunder Isle
The indecisiveness of the ocean is in that with one motion, it will push whatever it carries towards the shore, and in the next seek to drag it back into its grasp. A crab, one of those large species native to Azerothian coasts, scuttled just beyond the reach of the lapping waters, frantically side stepping along the golden sands until it reached the man there. It stepped back in sudden discovery and raised its claws like boxing gloves towards the limp face. No reaction. It scuttled forward, and pinched their cheek.
At the stab of persistent pain Anan woke. He groaned and rose to his knees. His limp brown hair hung about his face and, with a series of wrenching coughs, expelled the seawater from his mouth. He watched the salty water dribble from his lips for a moment and, blinking back to himself, rose to his feet.
He stood there, swaying slightly as he stared at the jungle stretching along the coast. Thick, tall palm trees and undergrowth of vines and plant life forming a dense wall, forbidding and dark. Perhaps it was the sight of the trees but with a gasp he frantically reached behind him and, pulling forward a lute, sighed lovingly. His fingers stroked the smooth wood and tenderly plucked the strings to test them, closing his eyes in happiness at the fair sounds. Satisfied, next he casually inspected his attire, simple brown leather pants and a sail cloth shirt both soaked thoroughly through. He had lost his shoes, but found that though unfortunate, hardly worth real concern.
Anan looked down to either ends of the trackless beach. To one side he could distnatly see a great mass of rocky reefs and cliffs; in the other the isle curved away after thrusting out an arm of a sandbar. When he came to his feet he smiled warmly at the crab scuttling back and forth. "So it's you I have to thank," he said, bending down to watch the eyes at the ends of their stalks. "My thanks. You're not the most beautiful thing I've had the pleasure to waking to though. That was the duchess Rodeva at Kul Tiras. I had to flee due to her jealous husband, chased away the very night I had promised her marriage. But they caught me and, though I fought like a demon, they clubbed me and, cowards that they were, threw me into a ship's hold. By the time I awoke, it was too late, and nothing I could do would entreat the captain to turn around."
As he said this, Anan looked skyward with a dreamy far away face. The crab, nonplussed, continued to dance before him with claws raised high. Realizing his audience failed to pay attention, he smiled at the crab kindly. "Thank you, at any rate. Now," he added, looking up, "best find a lay of the land I suppose."
With lackadaisical casualness he wandered towards the heavy, brooding mass that was the jungle. The crab turned so it always faced him, claws upraised warily. When Anan had gained some distance, the crab, with claws yet high and wary, scuttled after him and towards the hanging jungle.

Ceada, Ithua

Silver's Glory, Plunder Isle
Ceada took another look around, a thick jungle lay ahead of the shore, and to the left was the large rocky reef Anan had spotted, she then looked to her compass. "Looks like we've landed on the northern coast, unless this damn things broken."
"Let's go check that ship out!" Ithua called excitedly.
"Are you nuts? That's a Forsaken ship!" Ceada stated.
"Well I'm a Tauren, Tauren are part of the Horde, like Forsaken, I'm going to take a look." Ithua replied smugly as she began running towards The Oblivion.
"She's going to get herself killed." Ceada replied taking her Worgen form. "We better go after her..."

Falionna loked at the body of the very dead captain, she then steped out from the captains cabin and moved to the railing and tossed down a rope that the dark ranger then proceed to use to climb down.
"So, stuck in some nowhere island in nowhere waters. Splendid." Falionna muttered to herself sarcastically.
Falionna then narrowed her eyes as she saw someone aproaching, no. Not one, two. Looters, alliance? The dark ranger sighed as she moved back up the rope and took cover under the railing to prepare for the arival of the potential enemies.

"Stupid." Nadaran stood, dusting himself off as he watched the worgen and tauren skip merrily over to their deaths. The Forsaken would kill them both. Azeroth would probably be better off anyway. He stretched, yawned, and looked about for his belongings, or survivors to take belongings from.

Ithua replied in annoyance, tired of the conversation already. "Not all pirates are pirates, we're just sailors looking for some adventure! Your war stops that on dry land! We - We're just trying to get by in this world!"
Ceada had returned to the Silver's Glory, her mind doubtful. "Alright, if the Horde wont help us the Alliance might! If they don't... Perhaps the Bloodsail would spare us if we joined them..."
