Gearing an arena disc/holy priest. Advanced question. (Set bonuses)

So, I have my recently turned 70 disc/holy priest. His gear is coming along. Already getting close to getting my first S3 piece of gear. And considering waiting till S4 gets here.
Now, I'm pretty sure mana burn is affected by spell damage. Correct me if I'm wrong. This being said, the 4 set bonus of the priest is rather weak(2 sec off weakened soul effect), while 35 resil is possibly a better boost along with the added spell damage from 2 pieces of satin gear combined with mooncloth gear.
Would this be more benefitial? Or would having the extra 50-70 +heals be more benefitial with the 4 set bonus? From my experience, even a hundred +heals doesn't equate to that much, but the same can be said about +spell damage.
So, does anyone know what would be better? 3 pieces mooncloth and 2 pieces satin? Or 5 pieces mooncloth? Pro's/con's? Do you combine gear for this purpose? How much does 35 resil once you have 350 resil really help?

Assuming that all "mooncloth" pieces give the set bonus, no matter what Season it is, I'm pretty sure if you mixed / matched Mooncloth and Satin together, you'd still get the 4-set bonus, not an extra 35 Resil.

No, if you mix mooncloth and satin you get the two 2 set bonuses, not the 4 piece. They are not considered the same set.

Ya, you get the extra 35 resil. I'm using that on the blue sets right now because that puts me at 216 resil with only weapon, wrist, and cloak from pvp vendors.
I'm going to have to duel a buddy tomorrow and see if the mana burn changes with spell damage. I don't think it will change much, if at all with the added spell damage of 2 pieces, but I would think spell damage would affect the spell.

I don't believe mana burn is affected by +damage...but its effected ALOT by resilience.

Mana burn does not get any +damage from you spell damage. Its spell coefficient is 0%. Resilience will affect mana burn for the damage portion not sure if it will lessen the amount of mana you get take away.

Ya, resil will resist mana burn. It says in the description that it resists the amount of mana drained. That's why it lowers the damage mana burn does. I guess that's pretty lame that every level of gear has the same amount of mana burned per cast....
So, the question is then, what would be more benefitial, 35 resil? or 70+healing and 4 set bonus?

Hehe, I'm still gearing this toon. And I'm going for as much resil as fast as possible for survivability atm. Getting slaughtered with 3500 crits when I started, and now 2500 crits is a big difference. I'm working on vindicator's gear before I start getting set gear. I'm in pvp blue set gear atm, and the added resil I think far out weighs the extra 40 +healing I would get with the other 2 pieces. This toon will be +heal starved for a while until s4 comes out and I burn some arena points on that gear and start enchanting my epic gear. I refuse to enchant s1/ rep pvp gear at this point. It's not worth it to me.
I'm asking down the road, when fully geared, if the added resil will benefit more then the +healing. At 1700 or more +healing, 70 + healing(give or take, and considering the coeficients of the instant cast heals and flash that I will be mostly casting) doesn't seem like much, but neither does 35 resil compared to 360-400 or more. As well as 2 sec off the pw:s cd. I dunno, I guess your preference is +healing. Any one else?
