I really hope Jaina doesnt become the next killable raidboss >.>..
Would be nice to have a little redemption storyline possiby involving thrall and the spirits of passed fallen heroes such as uther and arthas (yes i said arthas)..
I disagree, hope she dies... In a fire.
On a related note is there any possibilty of the Quel'Dorei joining the horde?
Perhaps by puting
this ranger
in a room with
This (blood?) mage
.
Why do people hate jaina so much? it's not like shes a bad person, she's just blinded by rage over what garrosh did, all we need is someone to calm her down =/...

Ok and thats your view, i do not agree with it but i cant change it.
I think it's gonna happen. People have wanted High Elves or Blood Elves for the alliance for a long time now and a lot of the lore supports it happening.
So yeah, it's gonna happen.But... It's not. :\
Blizzard had Lor'themar and Varian discussing it so that they could show that the Blood Elves don't really hold any loyalty to Garrosh, and will only serve the Horde as long as it's in their best interests.
Then Dalaran happened, planting the Blood Elves back firmly with the Horde. Garrosh is gonna get ousted and then they won't even need to leave the Horde in the first place.

So...no matter how you are refuted, you are still going to say it's going to happen? Is that how I'm reading your posts?
In that case, you are right, there is nothing to discuss, since you are just going to ignore the Lore.

I'm not saying it's GOING to happen, i just think it is highly probable we will be playing high elves as alliance in the next expansion..

But...A High Elf is not a Blood Elf.....

Still doubt it. There's hardly any actual High Elves left in the world. Just about all of them that are left are in Dalaran or Outland. Where would their starting area even be?

Aren't they the same? just the blood elves chose a different path.

Starting area could actualy be dalaran.(##RESPBREAK##)12##DELIM##Sas148##DELIM##I went through and combined your consecutive responses into one reply. No, they aren't the same; that's like saying a Night Elf is the same as a Troll.

Starting area could actualy be dalaran.Sure, but where would they quest?
The thing is, with 13 races already in place, I don't think we'll be seeing any new races for a while. ESPECIALLY not High Elves. There's just too few of them, and they resemble Blood Elves too much.

True.. i didn't really give it much thought, i just thought it would be really cool to play a High Elf/Blood Elf as alliance..

Word.
Why do people hate jaina so much?
Erm, is killing a bunch of innocent civilians not reason enough?
it's not like shes a bad person, she's just blinded by rage over what garrosh did
Anger doesn't justifies wrongdoings, specially when you're not even sorry that you did it after the anger subsides (when varian scolds jaina about what she did, she all but laughed in his face, and showed that not only she's not regretful of her actions, she is delusional enough to believe her own BS. If what the spoilers from 5.2 are proof enough.
If "being blinded by rage" was proof enough that someone isn't a bad person, that would justify all the wife-beaters out there who snap in a fit of rage and hurt everyone near them but "are good people on the inside"
Understand that she didn't just beat up a few stragglers, she specifically released a bunch of psychotic overzealous fanatics onto innocent blood elves, and killed them in cold blood. This is not the sort of stuff that can be glossed over.
all we need is someone to calm her down =/...
Ohh I'll calm her down alright........ by ramming a runesword through her neck.
I actually wont pin this on the alliance because Varian clearly disapproved of what she did, and if Anduin had been there, he would had disapprove too. This is her fault alone, she took an unilateral decision without consulting with the rest of the council of six. which effectively makes her a dictator in the one democratic city that was left on azeroth.
I'm not saying it's GOING to happen
are you sure? Cuz
Here, you say otherwise.

Wrong. While I woudln't go as far as Adamsm with the nightelf/troll comparison, High Elves and Blood Elves are different, both on a cultural level, and on a physical level. While they may look alike, they have plenty of differences.
Come on, saying that high elves and blood elves are the same, is like saying Dwarves and Frost Dwarves are the same.
Still doubt it. There's hardly any actual High Elves left in the world. Just about all of them that are left are in Dalaran or Outland. Where would their starting area even be?

There are many reasons why its unlikely to happen, but one of the biggies is that the high elves are a dying breed and they know it. Lorewise there must be less than a few thousand High Elves left.
When the scourge invaded Silvermoon, they killed most of the High Elven population. Out of the few survivors who remained, about 90% renamed themselves Blood Elves, and a minuscule remnant chose to still call themselves high elves. Most of this minuscule fragment was in outland, and the rest in theramoore.
As a people the High Elves are just dying out, both on a cultural level, and on a physical one, since they are still afflicted by the same addiction to arcane magic as their blood elven cousins, except they no longer have access to the sunwell thanks to the spectacular stunt pulled by Jaina and the Silver Covenant.

Ok i see your point, blinded by rage is no excuse for killing people, but do you REALLY just wana see her dead lol? wouldn't a redemption storyline be better? where she tries to attone for her crimes

No. Because as the end of Arthas showed, Blizzard really can't do those stories anymore. Just let her be killed and put someone better in charge of the Kirin Tor.

unless

I can ask a similar question myself. Why do you want her alive?

Cus i think she's a good character, i like the lore behind her.
Also that makes me think, what if jaina is partialy corrupted by the sha? could explain her new hair colour :P

Her new hair colour is the result of being thrown into a portal just as magical nuke went off.

Pleanty of characters that i enjoy (mainly with WC3 origins) and have good lore are dead. My favorite didn't get killed once but twice and his name is Kael'thas

Sha seems to work with a range funktion so unless she have gone to townlong, i can't realy imagine hatered having anything to do with her, and Kun-lai for anger/violence. as those 3 seems like the closest emotions relating her behaviour.

Yes but she was thrown into a portal, there maybe of been sha inside that portal.

No, no there wasn't, as Tides of War takes place a few months before the Mists are lifted and the Sha are woke up again; Dude, for the love of the Naaru, learn the freaking Lore!
