Another "which class should I play!" :)

Hello everyone, I have another questions that gets asked quite frequently. I am wondering which class seems to suit what I want!
I am an average/casual player, I have not been big into arenas since BC (I know a long time.) I used to play Rogue back then and loved it but, my question is not going to revolve around arenas. I am simply looking for a good class that has really good control, can easily escape, and won't die to easily. I am not interested in the OP class or FoTM, I really enjoy spending most of my time, what I have at least, in BGs and WPvP.
I think the classes that I am leaning most towards would be Rogue, Monk, or Hunter. They all seem to provide good control (although I am not sure about the control Monks have,) decent escapes/tricky and can do some good burst. I know with the upcoming patches the Monks and Rogues are sitting in a pretty good spot.
Classes that I have no interest in are Warriors/Paladins/DKs
Any input on which class would provide what I would like to have above is greatly appreciated. I just want something that is enjoyable, I know that I will get rolled because I won't have the best gear so hopefully I can get whichever I chose to 90 before the next patch
Thanks again!

Hunters are the best class /end thread :P
In all seriousness, they have given hunters a lot of shenanigans since BC. We now have a stealth of sorts with camouflage, a talent that roots everything around you when you disengage, the option of silencing shot to all three specs, and various glyphs that improve the usefulness and availability of deterrence and disengage. Feign death is still useful for breaking targeting. They have removed our minimum range requirements, let us run while channeling, made our AOE much more mobile than volley used to be, and gave us a glyph that will automatically put hunters mark on things we're shooting without making us waste a GCD. BM's burst is ridiculous- especially with stampede which not only send 5 pets to attack your target at 175% of their normal damage, but they also cast all of their buffs when they come out, as part of their rotation. And, with Ancient Hysteria, a BM hunter now has Heroism/Bloodlust on call as well if they use a corehound.(##RESPBREAK##)8##DELIM##ElhonnaDS##DELIM##

Thank you- I think that there needs to be more pancake apparel, frankly.
I have been wanting to play my kitty more- I think the Displacer Beast talent they added sounds fabulous.

My vote is Hunter
I love playing my little Beast Master goblin hunter, i wish i had made her sooner.
She was born mid-way into Cata expansion. She has loads of fun abilities, animations (Feign Death). Her burst damage great... add in the fun factor of being able to tame some amazing looking rare pets.
Control of the character is bind blowing... they have so many get of jail free cards.
When it comes to a class you think you might like, i would truly recommend giving them a shot. You have nothing to lose, apart from your free time.
Off topic - subject
Alt's do come with added bonuses. This is for people that only happen to play the one character.
You can level new characters rather quick today i think, give or take 2-3weeks. Depending on the person & your available time periods to play the game. This bench mark is in no means fact. This is based on my own free time.
Leveling will net you 12k + gold easy. This is something to take into account, you can benefit while leveling a new character.
Add in some professions & bobs ya uncle you become a
one man army
. How many times have you wanted something & truly didn't want to pay AH prices !.. etc..
You can learn so much about the game while playing other classes. Things you would have never even thought about. Expand your mind & start something new.
I spent many years, only playing the one character. I regret doing this so much... i spent Vanilla & most of TBC playing only a Holy paladin. Today, i really like making new characters. Even jumping on a new realm. Kinda made playing the game refreshing & new.

I do appreciate all of the responses even though some are a little off topic :P
I think that I might go with the hunter, I have every class except a monk to 85 so leveling will not be a big deal.

The other nice thing about playing any class but monk right now is you feel unique :P And after getting to the mail stage for gear, there should be little to no competition

So, I have come to the conclusion that there is really no point in trying in pvp until 5.2 due to the gear gap. I have recently gotten my shaman to 90 and I am in full honor gear and I hit like a little girl. So, in conclusion I am going to level both a hunter and rogue. :)
Lol, I really don't enjoy getting spanked so why not level them both and get honor/JC capped and ready for the next season? Then I will have both!

I have never met a shaman who didn't love playing shaman. That is all.
