As Disc was suggested by the previous poster, I'll go ahead and say Holy :)
Disc does some nice DPS, but it is a trade off, you can't be uber DPS and Healer, it's a balance. But Holy can really push some healing throughput, and party healing whilst in a raid means you are hitting upto five people at a time with a decently efficient heal spell.
If your raid needs that extra DPS, then yes, Disc is what you need, for pure healing, go Holy.
5 Mans, as stated, go with what you prefer, or what you want to practice at.

For dungeons play what's enjoyable, for LFR play what's enjoyable. For normal/heroic raids, I'd encourage you to play Disc, even after the coming SS nerf.

Okay, from a iLvL 485 raiding disc priest, I love that
Atonement
is long longer a choice, its a given.
Your three main damage dealing spells are
Holy Fire
,
Smite
, and
Penance
. And with
Atonement
, those spells now also heal as described in
Atonement
. Those three spells also give a point in
Evangelism
, so with 5 stacks of
Evangelism
you then trigger
Archangel
,
Power Infusion
(a chosen talent at level 75), and
Inner Focus
then spam
Prayer of Healing
on one member of each group alternating (e.g. tank from group 1, then tank from group 2, repeat) until your
Archangel
falls off. Then build your stacks of
Evangelism
back up.
Don't forget to start out each pull with hitting your MT with
Power Word: Shield
,
Prayer of Mending
and
Renew
, then tag the MT target with
Shadow Word: Pain
then start your
Evangelism
stack building rotation.
With careful observance of
Rapture
and
Shadowfiend
(and the help of a couple addons), as disc priest, I rarely has mana issues.
Also, using the point in
Cascade
at level 90 and using it every time it's of CD will help your healing numbers as well, especially when
Archangel
is up.
Hope this helps and happy raiding.

I started out as disc for leveling. however, after lv 70 i found holy is as effective for lving as disc, probably because of increased spellpower/int
As for healing, holy is hands down the winner!

As a current disc priest, who has switched between holy a few times... For raids, it really is all going to depend on what other healers you have in your group. Currently my group has a resto druid and myself, so I switched to disc. It works real well with my absorbs and all the druid aoe hots/instants.
Cascade is a great heal for disc priests to help with aoe healing too while your bubbles are absorbing. For atonement, it's more effective now that they increased the range of it's healing a couple patches ago (or maybe last patch, can't remember), but still depends on the fight.
For personal preference, disc is fun and I really like the absorbs, but holy feels more versatile and more enjoyable.
I would just say try both out and see which one you prefer, but be ready to have to switch depending on the make of your group and the fights in the raids. For dungeons, they both work well.

I play disc almost exclusively now, it just fits my playstyle better. On raids, I like to have one disc and one holy around, I find their skills compliment each other and is highly effective.

I like both specs. Both have valuable things to bring to a raiding situation. And, which spec one chooses can partly depend upon what other healers are in a raid group.
My Shadowpriest might be migrating to a new team soon, and they already have a Disc priest. (Accompanied by a Resto Shaman and Resto Druid) So, I might drop my Disc spec for a Holy spec, in order to better complement his abilities, in case my healing spec is needed.
I personally like Disc better? This is because I can DPS while healing, bringing more damage to the raid in a Healer role. And, if used correctly, Spirit Shell can be amazing. IF... If you don't time it well, your Spirit Shell could be pointless. Disc is very much about timing and proactive use of your CDs. If you are new to a fight, you won't perform nearly as well as if you have run the encounter a few times before.
Holy, on the other hand, has the Lightwell. (Which, can be glyphed to become a Lightspring... a healer's insurance policy when members of the raid drop below 50% health) They also have Divine Hymn. (Disc used to have this, but now this belongs only to Holy)
I would say that Holy is a more versatile fit overall. But, if you put a Holy Priest into a group with two Hpallies, then that Priest is going to be hating life. (The same goes with a Resto Druid... HoTs just aren't as beneficial with big heals flying out all over the place)
