To quote a Hyper:
Legends always speak of born heroes, those that were destined from the cradle to save their people and their home. Bards sing of men and women decimating entire armies with their bare hands, praise their saving of hundreds of lives in a single evening, and lavish their apparent immortality to any and all who will listen. Heroes are larger than life, fulfilling prophecies that the common man only dreams about hearing for reality. Heroes are those who go forward to earn honor, or die trying.
The truth, on the other hand, is far less romantic. People are never just born heroes, they are men who took a grueling step forward to volunteer their lives and women who felt the burden of duty fall on their shoulders. Each step of their journey is to dance with death, never knowing if the next day will be their last and treating every moment with caution. Heroes are those who survive a conflict where thousands of their faceless peers die.
But they all start somewhere, and no hero gets to where he or she ends on their own. They had mentors, parents, siblings, friends... all the people who would push them forward, unwittingly leading them to their harsh and unrelenting destiny. Their experiences shape them, their training prepares them, and their peers guide them.
Heroes are not born, but forged.
So this is basically a reboot of a previous RP, known as
Genesis
. The rules are the same as before:
The RP begins at the very start of Vanilla/Classic WoW. That means that there's been no Cataclysm, no Lich King invasion, no Legion invasion, not even any patches.
You must begin the RP with a character who is effectively 'level one', that means that while they can have some experience fighting, they are no pros, and they are certainly not elite adventurers of awesome.
You will have the opportunity to involve more characters later in the RP--However! The characters you introduce must be around the same experience level as the other characters.
These rules may change in the future, and I'll update this (and give warning in the Open Q&A) when it happens.
Don't g-mode, or be OP
So keep that in mind while playing. Any other questions can be regarded in the open Q&A for now, but if it starts to be a problem I'll give this its own.

"I beg you to reconsider," his mother pleadingly looked into his large, very light gray eyes, stepping between him and his kitbag. The boy - the young man, as he thought of himself, but very probably did not qualify yet - sighed, tugging his ponytail of charcoal black hair nervously, then shook his head and softly placed his hands on her fragile shoulders. Looking down on her - at his very gangly six point two, he was almost half again as tall as his short, plump mother - he said, slowly but decisively, "I made my choice, mom. After five years, you managed to move on and find your place in life - it is time for me to do the same."
He gently kissed her on the forehead and walked around her, carefully putting the last remnants of his late father's letters and books into the sack and tying it close. As she watched him, tears welling in her eyes, the boy walked up to the fireplace and carefully removed a large, well-crafted steel bastard sword from a rack over it.
"Fits my hand," he chuckled somewhat nervously. "I'd make grandpa proud if he was still with us."
"Will you return? Tell me you will return!" his mother exclaimed. He sighed again, then said firmly, "I will."
He slung the sack and the scabbbard with the sword across his back and walked an unflinching walk towards the exit.
"Can you at least stay until the wedding?" he heard behind him. He gritted his teeth and growled, more sharply than he wanted to, "No," and ran out of the house.
"Tyr bless you, son," his mother whispered, then slumped onto a chair and began crying.

Character:
Peter Brighthammer
Location:
Goldshire
Peter Brighthammer is a young man, only recently having reached the age of seventeen, where he joined the priesthood like the rest of his branch of the Brighthammer family. His small and thin form is garbed in white robes with blue trim along the hem, sleeves, collar and running along in a strip down the center of his robes. He carries a large pack filled with various books and items, and is armed solely with a small hammer sheathed at his waist.
Peter is a somewhat nervous and fastidious young man. He is unused to dealing with people and the outside world, having only recently been sent from his monastery, and as a result is somewhat naive.
Peter hefted his large pack back up as he plodded along the dirt road. The youth paid no heed to the beauty of Elwyyn which flanked him on both sides, where birds chirped cheerily and the sunlight filtered through the branches like daylight stars to light his way. All he cared to use the sunlight for was to read the small, red leather bound book in his hands and the tight if neat handwriting held therein.
He didn't even notice as he past the sign with Goldshire scrawled upon it if fine, flowing characters.

Character: ------- -----
Location: Deathknell Crypt, Tirisfal Glades
His eyes were lit with light as he opened them, yellow light, glowing light that illuminated his face in the dark he was lying down in... Why was it dark... Why...
Wait...
No...
NO!
NONONONONONONONONO"
NONONONONONONONO
!"
He screamed at the top of his lungs, lungs that should not have been working, lungs that he remebered were as dead as he should be. But he was thinking, he was breathing, he was
alive
! HE SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN ALIVE!
He struggled at his confines, trying to break free of them in his panic, he did not think about why he was or what he would do once he broke out, but he struggled all the same, panic setting in, terror consuming him more and more.
Then the lid of the coffin was torn off, and a monster with exposed guts and pile falling out of its stomach loomed down at him. He screamed at the top of his lungs and attempted to jump from his coffin, only to be grabbed and restrained by two more men-no, NO! Not men! Monsters! Undead!
His terror and fear continued to mount as he was dragged off, kicking and screaming against his will.
The Shadow Priestess loomed in the corner staff awkwardly held as she crossed her arms. "These recent newrisen have been... jumpy," she noted.
"But they all come around in quick time," Caretaker Mordo assured the Priestess. "Believe me, Mistress Shadowheart, we will calm him down and he will see the ways of the Forsaken as we do in no time at all."
"If your will is strong enough to put your goals to action, then you will succeed," Amanda nodded. "I will leave you to it then, Mordo. I will see you at congregation next Sunday."
"Of course, Mistress Shadowheart," Mordo bowed and then turned to follow his assistants in the direction they had dragged the newrisen. The Shadow Priestess saw herself out of the crypt-laboratory and back on her way to Brill.

Roland Mordecai
Elywnn
Gabriel is a human of average height with chestnut-coloured hair and eyes. He is well built and is good with a bow and sword, and can hold his own in a fight. Despite his sturdy appearance, he has a very shy personality and can't help but be socially awkward around other people, which is why he always keeps his pet battle-dog, Brick, closeby.
The human left Stormwind after picking up a horse, his dog happily barking and trailing behind him as he rode towards Goldshire to see if there were any more jobs for him to do.

Of his own awareness, Peter had very little. Therefore, it had come as very little surprise that it was only when he had the unfortunate experience of walking directly
into
a tree that he realized he had wandered off the road.
"Oh dear," Peter mumbled, eyes shooting around the wooded region. "Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear." A distant break in the woods informed him that there was another route nearby. Though, in that it was in the direction he had been immediately traveling sadly only confirmed he had overshot his own road, and likely the very town itself.
Looking about, he quickly bungled his way towards the road, almost falling through the foliage and at a young woman feet.

Peter stumbled back slightly. He was bout to apologize for getting in the woman's way, when he suddenly spotted the injuries she suffered. his eyes widened at the canvas of pain etched upon her flesh and written in her rags.
He glanced around, unsure of what to do. Then, with hesitant steps, he caught up with her and gently plucked at her sleeve.
"Um, yes...Ah, beg pardon. You're injured. Bleeding, wounded. Did you know?" he noted, careful to keep pace with her.

"Whattheohno!" Peter cried, nearly buckling beneath the weight as the woman fell upon him. He wrapped his arms about her shoulder and leg, nearly falling forward at the sudden load before managing. He looked about uncertainly, fidgeting nervously before catching sight of someone.
"Excuse me, lend a hand? Could use one. Somewhat heavy. Falling over. Oh dear. Help?" Peter said as the weight of the girl began to throw the delicate equilibrium he had with his pack off, the priest gradually leaning back like a ill made house of cards about to collapse.

Vaina finished speaking with the innkeeper, receiving her newly attuned hearthstone from the man. Heading outside, Wolf following closely behind her, she stepped into the blacksmith to have a few rips in her armor repaired. She handed the smith a handful of copper and headed back out after overhearing a guard mentioning a kobold infestation to the south.
"You need Kobolds killed?" she asked, blinking at the guard.
"Um, what?" the guard asked, looking flabbergasted. "I don't think you really need to concern yourself with--"
"I'll do it," Vaina answered, equipping her bow. "How many?"
"I don't want to be responsible for--"
"How many?" Vaina repeated.
"I just think..." the guard began, but stopped mid-sentence, sighing with resignation. "Fine. Go kill fifteen Kobolds and come back, you lunatic."
"Fifteen, got it," Vaina replied, before running back to the inn to make sure there wasn't anything else she needed to do on the way.

He cleaned his pipe and put it back into his robe and walked forward to the girl.
"Hello there, i don't suppose you're in the need of assistance?" he asked the girl.
