Ok, I just used R-A-F. on my friends acct, and he activated it, paid time, and we got things rollin. I got my mount and free month. We can grant levels.
My issue is, I dont see the 300% EXP bonus....am I missing something here?

I don't remember seeing an active buff, or anything, but the exp rewards were clearly much larger when I was doing RAF leveling. Are you questing?

Mine werent. I highlighted my exp bar, and it just says 100% exp. Killing mobs I got same exp.
It did state '122 exp (90 bonus Recruit a friend bonus). But people are talking about getting to lvl 60 in like 20 hrs. 80 in a matter of a day. Nowhere near 300% bonus. Only quests are 300%? not mobs?
The rate im going, I'll be 80 next yr, lol

You're missing a lot of information here. Firstly, you have to be partied to get the bonus. Second, you need to be within 5 levels of each other to get the bonus. If you're meeting those requirements, check your log, the bonus should show up next to exp. gained.
We are. hes lvl 6, im lvl 5. We killed a few of those rats in the starter town. Were getting 150 exp per kill. breaks down as I stated above. I got same exp solo. Wouldnt my exp bar state 300%? Like it states 200% for rested?

But where is all this 'fast leveling' jazz come from? I see youtube vids and people talking about hitting 60 in a day? This isnt really a bonus, lol. Why is solo xp better than party if its all about 'recruiting a friend' lol.

The above screen shot clearly demonstrates that solo xp is NOT higher than grouped RaF. The 300% xp advertised is badly worded and while true in a way, is not reflective of what actually is seen by each player. Kill xp is tripled (300%) and then halved for being in a group.
It is faster, much much faster. When you are on 'Kill 20 rats' quests, if you are both attacking the same mob it dies twice as fast. If you each go kill 10 rats, the quest gets completed twice as fast. You are receiving 150% of xp (each) for mob kills.
Given that the majority of levelling quests are "Kill 20 rats" type of quests you are levelling at a highly elevated rate compared to the solo quester.
Also, fast levelling is aided by being an experienced quester. I could reach 60 in a day while RaFed because I know the most efficient questing paths and don't have to spend any time fiddling around. Mind you, the fastest RaF levelling will be done by multiboxers who don't have to contend with anyone else's curiousity or foibles slowing down the process.

Ahhh, that makes more sense. I'll give it a shot tonight. Been kinda annoying. I was hoping itd be like 1 kill and boom, id go straight to lvl 4, next kill instantly 6, etc. Jump a few lvls every 2-3 kills or so, etc.
I'll see how it works out tonight with quests. Thanks for breaking it down for me. I was ready to start punting gnomes again, lol. ^_^

When I did RAF with a friend, he had his high level main run our two low level characters through dungeons over and over. Worked like a charm.
How many levels were you getting like per run?

That's what my friend and I did too.

at 15 in the first dungeon, with dungeon quests, it was 3 or 4. It slows down A LOT at 60 but the levels fly by.

BTW, the "level 60 in a day" people are (a) granting levels, and (b) that is 1 day /played time, not 1 always a "24 hour time period".
