I think people who never would have gotten a chance to raid otherwise enjoy LFR because at least they get to see some of the raid content. I personally don't mind using it to fill in pieces that didn't drop in my regular runs. The experience has been pretty similar 85-90, though, so if you didn't like it then you probably still won't.

What? They kept LFR?
What... I don't even know what to say.
Wasn't it unanimously agreed upon that LFR was literally the worst PvE experience ever?

No kidding; I loved LFR since my raiding exploded in the Firelands and I was unable to find a good replacement; at least I got to see the end of the expansion, unlike in Vanilla, BC and Wrath.

I like LFR, my guild is small and unable to really raid. It at least lets me see the lore and enjoy the fights. If you don't like it then don't do it. :P

I've only managed to participate in a single raid in the past couple of years because of my ridiculous work schedule, and that's because of the convenience of the raid finder.
I could care less about the loot really (which isn't to say I won't take it if I win the roll), because I'm primarily there for the experience and the story.

so far i found the mogushan vault LFR more challenging then DS ever was.
you tried convincing 24 blockehads too move away from the elegon mid area, when they let a spark pass?
trust me, its quite a challenge if they cant understand why floor despawned under them for the 4th time.
Funny. My group found out the first time and no one died to the floor despawn the second time.

Surprisingly a lot of people actually liked the general concept of LFR. What was hated was how poor the looting system was. Now that that has been resolved, however...

Words of wisdom.
Unanimously my ass, I may even risk and say there were more people who loved it, than people who hated it. As someone who (for several IRL reasons) can't commit to a raiding schedule, LFR is a great oportunity to see the content at my time, at my pace, when I want, without having to obey a strict schedule.
There was not communication involved besides loot-flaming, the loot-distribution was a forking joke (oh, you already have the 397-version of the trinket? Sure, take the 384 as well, I'm sure you genuinly need it and won't just give it to your buddy!) and you only did it to upgrade your 378-stuff to 384-stuff.
The new Loot Distribution is a lot better in LFR. Basically there is no more need/greed rolls, and loot obtained here isn't tradeable with "your buddies".
Every time a boss is killed, all 25 players get a random roll, those that score high enough at that roll will gain 1 loot piece out of the boss loot-table that is suited to your class and spec, otherwise you just get gold. How many players win these rolls is determined by chance. Just as there is a chance all 25 win a piece, there's also a chance nobody does. Any loot won this way can't be traded to other members of the raid, and there is no argument over who should win what.
Furthermore, thanks to the elder charms, you have an extra chance to roll loot on bosses per week (Limited to 3 charms per week which you gotta buy with the daily tokens).
This system will also be used for legendary quest items, both in the LFR and Normal/Heroic raids (on Normal/Heroic this ONLY applies to legendary quest items, normal loot is still handled the good ol' fashioned way) To avoid the loot drama of who should be given all the quest items first. You are in the legendary quest? good for you, now raid, when you kill a boss, you have a small % of simply automatically gaining a legendary-quest-item piece, depending on luck, all 10/25 members could win one, or none would win one.
They've greatly refined the dificulty involved in LFR, on the first half of Mogu'shan Vaults the second and third boss have some dangerous mechanics that can wipe the unaware. And on the second half of the vaults, all 3 bosses can kill you if you don't pay attention (Some in more humiliating ways than others, such as Elegon)
LFR was one of the most acclaimed and beloved features of "crapaclysm", specifically by the people who normally can't raid (Which would surprise you how many they are in number)

I just saw the update in the launcher (EU) and have to ask this:
What? They kept LFR?
Well, I don't know. I kind of like LFR. But then again I am much (much) older than your average WoW player, I am positively slow, and generally suck. I still like to play the game, I appreciate help when I get it, I disregard rudeness when unjustified, I contribute what I can, and I enjoy experiencing older content.
So yes, I like LFR, and I am thankful for the surprising number of nice people that have been helping me make my way through those raids.
Blizzard is ALSO happy, because one more customer got to see what they worked on for so many months.
Sounds like a lot of people are quite happy. Sorry you're not.

I don´t think that word (unanimously) means what he thinks it means.

I get the impression that people who disagree with the OP do not exist to them, therefore making it unanimous.
