Best class for a Pandaren?

Okay, so I 'm wondering...what class works well with Pandaren? Now, I know that maybe 60% of you will say "Monk!" and that is true. Pandaren make excellent Monks. But I don't have MoP, so that class is out.
I ask because their racials are always useful. 2x rested exp? Half fall-damage? Melee-range stun? It's all good. But if you're a Rogue, Mage, or Priest, you're probably not going to need that fall-damage reduction very much. And Rogues have lots of stuns anyway, so Quaking Palm is only good because it's free.
Right now, I have a Pandaren Warrior, and he's doing well, but I don't really seem to use Quaking Palm all that much, since I solo a lot (and damage breaks stuns).

I would say Pandarens generally favor a melee class due to Quaking Palm but overall all classes benefit pretty equally from because all the racials are pretty neutral in terms of favoritism.

WoW has a lot of mechanics, and I can see how you find it confusing, but allow me to break it down.
Stuns (Kidney Shot (Rogue). Hammer of Justice (Paladin). Cheap Shot (Rogue). Deep Freeze (Mage). Bash (Feral (Bear) Druid)) do not break with damage. They do not allow any action and can only be removed with specific abilities (like Ice Block/Divine Shield) or a Medallion of the Faction.
Incapacitates (Such as a Rogue's Gouge) do break on damage, but do not share diminishing returns with stuns. the ONLY incapacitates are Gouge, Scatter Shot (Hunter) and Dragon's Breath (Fire Mage).
Diminishing Returns affect a quick sucession of spells on the same category. A stun once will be full duration, but if another stun is cast within 15 seconds, that stun will be half as effective in duration, and half of that half (1/4th) if cast a third time. After that, the target is immune to stuns for 15 seconds.
Snares are unnaffected by Diminishing Returns (like Frostbolt), but you probably won't allow a mage to keep shooting Frostbolts on you without reacting...
A 4 second incapacitate is actually a very powerful tool in the hands of any PvP character, since so few abilities are actually on the same category - even for rogues, since it doesn't force you to have your target facing you, and above all, costs no energy, allowing you to keep your combo up.
What I'm essentially saying is, it's not as bad an ability as you might think - assuming PvP of course - because it combos well with most classes's crowd controls.
With that being said, the ability is Melee range only, so it has it's fair share of limitations. It's nature (breaks-on-damage) might interfere a bit with DoT based classes - it's prime use is on
other
targets than your current kill mark, but melee range requires you to position really well. However, in the hands of a skilled player, I actually see a lot of potential in it. A warrior Charging-Quaking Palming a target is basically a "ranged" CC. A rogue able to "gouge" for no energy cost at all and with no positional requirement is also powerful. A mage comboing Polymorph-QuakingPalm-DeepFreeze can keep a tremendously long CC chain (as per usual, but even moreso) on any target - In fact, DeepFreeze+QuakingPalm+ImprovedCounterspell is a chain of 13 seconds of locking a caster (and a mage can blink to position). If Polymorph is used prior to this, for 8+4+2 seconds, that's a hellishly long CC chain, and in just 2 seconds Polymorph is off Diminishing Returns.
I would not pick a "best" class for a pandaren based on their racials. I feel I've justified Quaking Palm for PVP uses fairilly, and PVP is really the only field where racials are a heavy influence; PvE may get nice bouses, but you could go without them and not feel the difference that much.

I would think quaking palm would be great for a Mage. If something is in melee range as a Mage you don't want it to be. This holds true for both pvp and pve. The same could be said for priests as well I suppose. Then again panda warriors look awesome so there is that.

Of the 6 Horde-only races, the two fairly humanoid-looking ones (forsaken and Belves) don't have access to the Shaman class, and the others are kind of ugly. Pandas allow you to have a cute-looking shaman on the Horde side, so when I created a panda, she was a shaman.
For Alliance... screw those guys, they suck.

Honestly, just like every other race, there is no best class choice when it comes pure playing.
Now, if you were going for an RP based thing: Monk is the most obvious choice.

Note though, I said for an RP based thing, which is obviously not what the OP is going for.

Dem trolls man, have you seen them dance?

The female orc is the least played gender/race since their racial blood fury ability is only usable once a month.

You have over 4000 posts and you have been playing about two years. You should know that racial skllls either don't benefit any class or they benefit all classes equally and therefore are not a factor in class selction.
I ask because their racials are always useful. 2x rested exp? Half fall-damage? Melee-range stun? It's all good. Rested XP, half fall damage.. those racials are useles.... But again they have the same benefit for ALL classes, so they are not a factor.
