Let Hunters throw polearms when not in melee range kinda act as a javelin/spear
This would be a cool idea that would give hunters more options to pick from as far as weapon selection and you could let other class,s do this maybe monk or druid
I would also like to see some pets that specialise in range attacks and abilities for 5-man/Raids any other hunters out there like this idea?

Given how thrown weapons just got axed, I kind of this this would happen.
Not a bad idea, but I would actually make a whole class around that instead.

The funny part is hunters can still need on rolls for poles, swords and such.
Can't forget that they can need on plate too.

All loot is hunter loot.
Funny story, some dps monk asked me whether i wanted an INT staff that dropped.
Maybe he hadn't played since WotLK and still thought Hunters used mana?

It HAS happened, and it is epic. ;)
Very much liking survival gameplay. There's a few quirks (like pet pathing and mob evading issues when harpooning up on or across ledges), and we're probably missing some actual survival skills (three minute cooldown self-heal, gahhh), but IMO a very strong and fun foundation is there.
When I made my first WoW character, I imagined fighting with a pet and a staff (and well, a bow too), and now I have two of the three again. Except I use a phat polearm transmog, but that's a different matter. :P
So gogo melee hunter (long the butt of a WoW joke...)
