I've been camping for Loque'nahak for close to 3 months now with no luck and seems chances now are even slimmer with cross realm zones. Any tips or even sightings ( I'm on the realm Fenris) would be much appreciated. Still looking forward to getting this amazing pet for myself.

I d/l
_NPCScan
from curse and found him by the creek to the lake (

) on the very first lap - i was circling skilling up mining. Pop by his spawn points.
Loque'nahak
_NPCScan will make an awful racket and blink your screen red when it finds NPCs, found King Krush that day too... well, his corpse.
edit: This was a week ago or so.
edit2: I'm calling bull&*!@ on CRZ excuse.

What i did to get NPCScan up and running was:
- Close out WoW
- Download the addon and copy it to my addons folder like any other addon.
- Delete all files and folders in the "C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Cache" folder (not the Cache folder itself).
start up wow, make sure NPCScan is enabled on the char screen, and it was just go from that point on.

Npcscan works from a creature being loaded in the cahce (so another hunter having it out loads the creature).
If you want to clear the npcscan cahce, its the \World of Warcraft\Cache\WDB\enGB\creaturecache.wdb file you need to delete before loading up wow. (replace your language with enGB and name of the cachefile with a translation if applicable - I don't know if it gets translated).

or just make it easy on yourself and delete everything in the Cache folder.

Well deleting everything also means more loading for other stuff than creatures, so depending on you system, creaturcache.wdb is the best option.

I found Loque on my monk and gave it up to a nearby hunter.
I have to say though, cross realm zones is really stupid in this kind of situation.

Fun fact- if you delete your creature cache, then load into the game some place where there are no rares to register, then log back out and make the empty creature cache into a read only file, you never have to delete it again- NPC scan will treat them as new finds every time you encounter them. This way, you don't have to worry about having to keep an eye on whether you need to delete your cache because someone with a hunter pet passed you, and don't have to reset it when farming rares in Pandaria.

Wonderful tip, never thought of that.
