I don't mind the flavour at all. I think they've done well, especially like the look of Jade Forest and Kun-Lai Summit. I enjoy the farming business, though the valley is much like a children's cartoon on a bad acid trip. (And what's with the training to become a master in unarmed combat? My character apparently spent weeks accomplishing nothing that couldn't have been done in gathering some herbs.)
I still can't stand the pandas as such, but I'm getting to where I can pretend they're not really pandas; you know, like I can pretend elves' ears, autonomous robots and all the poop quests aren't really there.
I'm a little disappointed we don't get to kill pandas in droves. There ought to be a zone where I could farm cloth on them.

As the title says....
Still don't like 'em and won't roll one.
The quests in Pandaria are diverse and interesting but the whole continent is too "Chinese" for me...(got nothing against the chinese) and doesn't integrate into what I like about WOW. I don't honestly care that lorewise Pandas are in the storyline. I don't like the armour skins but I do like the idea of daily quests to augment Valour points.
I re-iterate that this is my view....what's yours?
I dunno. I don't particularly mind an Oriental (architectural, etc) style approach to the game. It was already hinted at through the implementation of events like the Lunar Festival and it was implied the Night Elves are somewhat like Koreans (and possibly a hint of Japanese, but unsure). In addition, other cultures, such as Nordic culture (which has been done quite a bit, to be honest) were also explored. To be honest, I'm surprised it wasn't done sooner. There's a lot of good material to be used from Oriental/(East) Asian culture.
'Course, I'm Korean myself, so I'm biased.

I agree with some of the comments here. The valley definitely feels a little too cartoonish/clichish. I enjoyed every other zone, but valley is by far my least favorite zone. I think the writer tried too hard to make ´memorable´ characters and it didn´t help to have annoying bouncing rabbits everywhere. I didn´t mind the hidden master quests (ie Yoda with green tea), but again, it was just like they took the absolute cliche and plastered it into the game. The only surprise was I wasn´t sure if there would be a wax-on wax-off part or not or maybe a scene where we had to put a helmet over our eyes.
I thought they did the atmosphere well and didn´t overdo the Chinese aspects. It really works well with the theme of this expansion and the sha.
My problem with the pandas/monks is the same thing as happened with DKs... it is always the most annoying and bad players who decide to make them ´my new main´ early in an expansion. If you don´t like Pandas, just do a few PUG heroics... they are always the first ones laying dead on the floor from avoidable crap. They also have a great death pose, that always makes me laugh.

I think it adds an interesting twist to the game orient wise. Makes for a different experience. I play a pandarian on one of the rp servers and I find there nature interesting to rp with
