Wowhead Client - Account name?

Hey there guys, first real post to be honest so I apologise if its in the wrong forum.
Anyways, just a quick one - as the subject said. I have been getting weird account names when I launch the Wowhead client the past couple of days. I have some wow adds, all legit, I dont use a private server and do nothing to break the EULA or anything remotely like that, and I only have the one account to log into, so its not that either. Could it be to do with the Pandarian stuff coming soon? I'm not sure, I'm not very technical. theres been a couple recently and was a bit worried, blocked this last one to be safe til I get some answers.
One last thing is that the account names are numbers, 8digits long followed by a # sign and a final number.
Any assistance would be grateful.
Thanks guys,
Lahti

Interesting question that I'm not actually certain of the answer.
I will say that the information my client gathers from beta does get assigned to a 8digit# with another # as well. I've always assumed that was just due to the beta client itself really. My primary account shows the original name it had prior to battletags.

I believe it's on Blizzard's side, they started using account names like the one you describe at some point. After the MoP content patch I had issues connecting to servers and added a starter WoW account to my battle.net account to test connectivity with and that one has xxxxxxx#x type account name as well so I'd assume that all new accounts get one like it.

Thanks for the replies peeps.
The data it holds is 24 loots and 99 locations, maybe you have something similar?
I'll add that my Wowhead client name is my pre-merged account name, too, and that I have 3 active accounts on there from RAF and the like, and of those 3 only one is upgraded to MoP at the moment. Possibly this is contributing to it, I don't know, but taking some of the info you've put that might make sense. Though I'm unsure why there would be 99 locations from MoP if I haven't visited them yet? Heh, theories abound!
again, thanks though. Hope you have a good day. Stay frosty!
