Mark each of your toons with a number; then whatever said number is, log in, do /roll *insert number of toons*; whatever it ends up on, that is what you play.

Since this only matters in what you enjoy playing; no. From here on out that is my standard response to anyone who asks what class to play.

If I was to remake Adamsm's basic rolling tip, I would think of what role (tank/heal/dps) you like the most and enjoy to play and feel like you can do it like flowing water without getting bored or you can make 3 sets of numbers to roll if you still can't decide. set X is for tank, #1 <insert class A> #2 ... Set Z is healers, preset a number to your class, roll. dps is just random roll /1-10(11? monk)
Set a number on what role you do, then do a /roll 1-3 and then /roll 1-x if it's healer/tank and your set. GL on your pandaria main.

I'll make a change to Adamsm's rolling idea: if the roll picks a class and you squirm a little inside because you're silently hoping it will pick another, then play the one you were hoping it would pick.
More than that:

But "ASAP"? Is this some sort of emergency? The bigger emergency is your very breathless sentence structure!

First, learn what the comma, period, enter, and tab keys do. Then, play as a death knight, because there just aren't enough level 85 death knights running around right now.

The idea of the"main" is kinda outdated.
My "main" used to be my toon with the best gear, or that brought the utility to my group that was needed. Now, with the way gearing is, I have every class geared well enough to run at least DS10 normal, and so many classes bring buffs and utility, that the "we need a shaman for lust" mentality is gone.
Personally, I just flip around between all of them, playing what I feel like for a week or 2, then swapping toons.

Lol, did not expect that many posts tweaking my class choice design ^_^.

I would think not having a main would make the game much less enjoyable. Considering you have an 85 in every class and none of them are considered a main, what is the fun you're having?

For me, it is fun to be able to go into a raid a play a different toon.....maybe DPS on a ranged toon one week, and a melee the next, or even switch roles and heal or tank.
What doesn't sound fun, is running the same raid, every week, on the same toon, with the same rotation, ect.
But, to each his own.

Well I guess that would make sense. Before I get burnt out on a raid I usually take a break. I've got a couple alts that I do the same raids on but overall I have just one main, that gets the achievements, the pets, the mounts, the professions lvl'd the soonest, etc.
My main has been so since BC, and whenever there's a chance to gain achievement points or a mount I'll only do it on here. There's a sense of accomplishment I guess. Now with MOP having those things account wide, it doesn't really matter. But regardless, it's the fact that I have that one toon that I've literally made my own, instead of just "another toon."

I guess my "main" would be my first toon I ever made on a Live server. I have made dozens of toons since then, and have switched servers 4 times since Vanilla, but I have always brought my original warlock with me. I have abandoned at least 10-15 toons that were at max level for the time due to server changes, and not being willing to pay hundreds of dollars to transfer them all, but my old school Warlock is still with me.
