Hi all,
I just started playing WoW a few days ago after my cousins talked me in to trying it out and so far I really like it.
I'm currently a lvl 7 Rogue Blood Elf.
Is there any advice you can give to newbies like me on the game? ^_^

WoW Help would be a good forum to ask any questions in.
Just use wowhead to search for anything you need to know. Just carry on questing and questing and going from zone to zone. There's a Warchief's Command board in your home city which has an opening quest for the next zone that opens up once you're one level shy of it. That is, at level 9 you'll get the next one.
Visit the Rogue forums here or on the official wow site for all information about how best to play a Rogue.
And never, ever, refer to it as a Rouge! :)
Have fun.
Cheers.

Hey Peaches, welcome to WoW & Wowhead. :)
Depending on your level of familiarity with the game so far and how much you enjoy stumbling into things vs looking stuff up ahead of time, you may find the following general leveling guides helpful.
Leveling 201: A Guide to More Enjoyable Leveling
by Wowhead staff
Cataclysm Leveling Flow Guide: 1-60
by Wowhead staff
Traveling Around Azeroth: A Transportation Guide
by Wowhead staff
What's a Tank? The Noob's Guide to 5-man Parties

Also of note are the guides specifically for leveling rogues:
Stealth and You: A Guide to Leveling Your Rogue
by
Capnboomkin
Rogue Leveling Guide
by Icy Veins staff
As you level up, you may find yourself more drawn towards PvE or PvP content, and you can find guides on Wowhead as well as on Noxxic, Icy Veins, and various other sites that can help you get the most out of the class & spec you choose.
G'luck!

Hey, welcome too WoW.
while i got no real helpfull tips too add too the already excisting ones. i just quickly wanted too point out that
Recipe: Savory Deviate Delight
(which Entropyutd mentioned) have become really common since cataclysm and is just worth a few gold (which is quite a lot for a new player), but nowhere Entropyutd though it might be nowadays. just pointing it out before someone becomes superhyped only too find out it isnt as well selling as you might think.

Welcome, Peaches! As you can tell by the responses you've gotten, Wowhead is full of good people willing to help and answer your questions to the best of their knowledge.
Remember, Wowhead is a database. Anything WoW related can be answered generally by just searching for it in the search box. Advice on classes are better off asked on the specific class forums, and general questions are meant to be put on this forum!
Have fun around Azeroth. There's much to it, so don't level too fast and let it get by you :)

take 2 gathering professions like herb/leather while you level. sell everything you get in the Auction house. i did the same when starting over on a new server and by the time i hit 85, i had enough cash to buy both artsisan and master flying, with 10k to spare.
Don't buy any gear in the auction house untill you are max level. it is a waste of gold. everything you need to level can be obtained from quests and dungeons.
loot everything you kill and either vendor sell, or auction the wares. will add alot to your stash.

My only advice is to try everything a couple of times. Some of the best times I've had in WoW had nothing to do with experience points of gaining gold. Find some good people and stick with them. Ignore the idiots.
Ok, one more...don't rush. Even though alot of people think the game starts until you max level. To me, max level is hollow if you don't enjoy the journey to get there.
Have fun and don't play too much! I swear the amount of fun I have is inversely proportional to the amount of time I play.

Enjoy the game through virgin eyes. I miss the days when I was new to WoW. Everything was so... amazing. I was a small character in a vast fantasy world. I've had more fun making newbie mistakes in my first few months then I have in years playing this game. Enjoy the game and good luck :).

This. I actually agree so much I slow down my leveling to a crawl to the point I try to twink out chars in certain brackets and PvPing before advancing.
