Hi! I didn't know where to write this but I'll do it here. Men, I can't wait to get MoP on my account. I wanted to ask, when MoP hits WoW, what do I have to do?. I wanted to make a plan.
Go directly to Pandaria, start questing and then? Weapons?Where do I get those items? Does anyone have some kind of a plan?.

Do the intro quests to get your 85 into Pandaria. Then maybe purchase some MoP greens (373 I think) off a vendor there if you're not about iLvL 370 or something. Then go crazy with the first zone and go from there.
Or, start a Pandaren and take in the opening zone.
Cheers.

erm......... play the game?
This isn't rocket science, once MoP goes live and you update your account to MoP status, you will automatically get a breadcrumb quest on Stormwind or Orgrimmar, following this quest will lead you to pandaria, where you will get all your gear replaced by the new pandaria itemized stuff.
As Iankybrit said, if you never bothered to do any raiding/heroics or whatever and are thus in a very low cata-green level of gear, there are vendors on both the alliance and horde bases that will sell you a full set of green items so you don't get squatted down by the mobs in pandaria.
what you do is really up to you, I mean, you could choose to level your mains, or make a pandaren, or make a monk, or make a pandaren monk (yes, they're not mutually exclusive, I know 99% of the people who make pandarens will make them monks too, but they also CAN be 6 other classes as well)
"The Plan" here is no different than that for any other expansion, just level up, replace gear with quest-gear, get to level cap, start doing heroics, start doing dailies to get the rep up, once sufficiently geared, start doing raids, level alts, ect ect.
For the pvp-crowd its also the same as always, level up, start doing BGs, farm a gazzillion honor, buy pvp gear, move to arenas, ect ect.
Again, this isn't rocket science.

Is there a link to the vendor that sells the greens that you two mentioned? I've looked and looked and can't seem to find one. Thanks in advance!

The only one I know of for entry Mists stuff is in the Beta to offset the Jade forest being locked out.

there used to be one, but since it was on the Jade Forest, and that zone has been reworked and retooled from the ground up, info hasn't yet emerged.
For example, previous to being reworked, the alliance had a base on the south whereas the horde had a base on the north. Now its the opposite, all the previous bases are gone, new ones are in, give it time.
I will say though, that the vendors offered some very basic loot. Pretty much green items that were slightly below the epics you would normally get on the 3 "hour of twilight" instances. But of course much higher than the standard cata-greens you'd normally have when getting to 85.
This was done mostly to prevent what happened on the start of cata.
Go into Hyjal/Vashj with a toon you actually had as a main on WOTLK and it would be a breeze, your WOTLK epics (be them from instances, or from raids) would make you more than a match for these mobs.
Go into Hyjal/Vashj with an alt on fresh WOTLK greens and they will TEAR YOU APART. Its one o the reasons Vahsj isn't feasable for alts, the quests don't start giving you items till way later, making the killing very very difficult.
Fight anything other than 1 mob at a time and you will die. Unless you are a master kiter, or a hunter.
On MoP this isn't so glaring, if you have an alt, just buy the greens, and then slowly replace them with the MoP greens. Those items are just placeholders, stuff you will only use at most for like 5 hours.

Thanks for answering me. I have a few toons I will need to do that for since I really get sick of dungeons quite easily. Now if they would show up in the news :-)

These were the three I found:
Claretta
in Pang's Stead in the Valley of Four Winds,
Singegruff
who was in Dawn's Blossom in Jade Forest, and
Silkweaver Rui
who was in the Pearlfin Village.
Suppose I should go back into Beta and make sure they are still around eh?

Also, it's possible they are here just so beta testers can have easy access to starter gear, similar to glyph vendor.
Never saw a green gear vendor in any of expansions, simply cause crafting professions would be pointless till they get to end level epics.
The craftable stuff is better then the vendor gear so....

Never saw a green gear vendor in any of expansionsWe also saw no Pandaren in previous expansions. Your point? :) Those are definitely not beta-only, they were confirmed, both as a way to fill gear gaps, and as a way to access the quest rewards for transmog.

i'd like to ask what your point is trying to use that fallacy as reasoning. "we also saw no pandaren in prev expansions"....seriously...
What we have seen every beta (and in test realms for future raid tiers) is items, like full raid tier items, being provided by vendors to test and experiment with.
Not that iam saying you're right or wrong, but your reasoning with "saw no pandaren in prev expansions" is lame (and by that i mean to conjure images of a dog with a broken leg, that sort of lame).
*************
back to the topic at hand. Dont they ussually give us the green gear for the expansion entry with the first few quests?

The
several differently named vendors
are also spread over the levelling zones instead of standing around in the capital cities or dungeons like the glyph vendor Tauren, who is definitely beta-only. Then also consider that the itemlevel is considerably lower than that of quest rewards you could get at the required level of the vendor-bought items.
Lastly, there was a blue post or similar confirming that they are not beta-only a few months back, but I can't find it right now.

so they're more like those vendors in lvl 1 starting zones who sell basic white items but these have lessthanquest greens. interesting.
