Just done something cool on my Rogue so thought an epic Rogue thread would be entertaining to read!
Put your awesome moments below!
I just got caught out of stealth and scatter-trapped, so I trinketed, blinded the hunter, gouged the Lock fearing me, kicked a poly from a mage, sprinted off - resisting a frost nova (RESULT) and managed to re-stealth! Felt pretty good lol.

Most epic moment for me was actually when my poor little lvl 71 rogue with crappy pvp gear was in AV, and I stealthed into a mine to cap it. The lvl 80 rogue that had originally capped it was there afk, and after I capped the mine, I spent forever pounding on him until he finally died. First ever lvl 80 kill for me in pvp with my rogue.

Level 70 PvP - back in the days, when you could interrupt with
Deadly Throw
and restealth with
easily; I managed to stunlock, disable (the only direct heal he got through was instant, due to
) and kill a restoration shaman behind a pillar, while my mate (a frost mage) kited his warrior pal on open field.
We killed our targets separately, but pretty much at the same time.
Although it wasn't smart to pounce on the shaman with no LoS to my mate (at least that was not how we usually handled this lineup, playing at 2.200'ish rating),
everything went better than expected
.
I miss those times, when you could just simply stunlock the hell out of people, skipping these little 5-6 sec. gaps (waiting for diminishing returns on KS, CS and Gouge/Sap to fall off) with
Ghostly Strike
or
Cloak of Shadows
.

I was wandering thru Shadowthorn at 60 getting the explorer and SV achievements when a 70 started ganking on a lowbie in my Faction. The 30 did a decent job and knocked about 1/4 of the health points of. I scored a garrote for an opener on the Shaman and was able to pull off a 5 point Rupture countering his heals and eventually manged to score enough interrupts (between teas and bandaids) to finally down him. The Lowbie finished his corpse run just in time to see him fall. We both split the area......... That lowbie ended up out levelling me and was the guild master for a while........

lvling rogue in pvp
get queued for arathi basin
only lvl 40, this is when pvp groups were 10-19, 20-29, and so on, so im in 40-49. No pvp gear, just lvling for fun.
Sub spec ofc
Defending stables, see a pally come up, this is before transmog, so i see his full lvl 49 pvp gear, looms and all, expecting him to kill me hardcore, and take the stables. I'm in trash greens, but a good blue dagger.
I'm the only defense and the game is close. This could mean a lot, so I have to try.
I go pick up zerking from the horses, shadowstep him, and ambush.
5400 crit. One shot, almost double his hp. Defense successful. Win game. Crit to good.
IT should be noted, you dont see numbers like that... until 80.

i just managed to beat a hunter who was kiting me.
i was doing arch when a hunter, who was also in kalimdor for one reason or another, decided to have a go at me.
i quest as sub and used every dirty trick to survive his much better geared self. We reached a cliff, so i angled myself corresponding to his location so his back would be facing the cliff by just a sliver of an angle so he wouldnt realise what i was trying to make him do.
Sure enough when i sprinted at him, he disengaged and slipped off the edge of the cliff to his death.
thats real subtlety.

For me, the Rogue is probably the one class that's like riding a bike - it doesn't matter how long of a break I take, I can always come back and pick things right back up where they left off.
I remember leveling mining in Howling Fjord and while on the long bridge that connects the 2 cliffs, a Boomy Druid swooped in and hit me with a Typhoon, sending me flying off of the bridge. Well, being that I play my Rogue a lot, my instincts are faster than when I am playing on other classes. I quickly hit my Target/Shadowstep macro and was safely back on the bridge, directly behind my attacker. I quickly blinded him and went into stealth. He tried to trinket the CC and fly away, but I opened on him before he could escape. After he died, I saw a 4-5 Alliance flying my way, so I vanished and sprinted away.
I've had a few similar experiences with my Warlock. A Druid or Shaman sends you flying back, only to see you Shadowstep or Teleport back to safety. It's a great feeling in the World of Warcraft.
I've seen Warriors do it as well with their Charge ability. It's quite cool.

What I miss most was wandering around Stranglethorn Vale with my lvl 19 rogue and hunter twinks (depending on my mood, rogue didn't aggro nearly as much crap as my hunter) hunting Skull level Alliance toons, back when BG's didn't give honor. It never failed to amuse me when the enemy would see my level and charge me, only to turn tail and run away as fast as they could when they realized that I had more health than they did and was hitting for a quarter their health per pop. -a moment of silence for lvl 19 twinking- ='(
Yes I know this is a rogue thread but for sheer epicness i include my final story, as it happens in the backyard of the Ravenholdt Manor, and should there ever be an honorary rogue induction, I would submit this toon for approval...
One last pvp story. Included, because as every good rogue knows, it's all about survival, evasion, and cheap-shotting the enemy...
Back when Tarren Mill was PvP hell for lowbie questers, and before achievements were shared across the account, my cute little frost mage Glacimancer was leveling in TM doing quests and just minding her own business. It was fairly early in Wrath when all the DK's were just trying out their new abilities on the unsuspecting populace of Tarren Mill, since they were about 30 levels higher than the normal questing toon's average. It was pretty much open season on anyone on the opposite faction (Darkspear) and we had a high pop server so there was ALWAYS insane PvP to be had. Moving on... I was running across the field outside of what is now the Yeti cave and saw a DK. He noticed me and started chasing me. Of course he could run faster than me and soon was able to death grip me. I froze him in place and blinked away and proceeded to kite him for about 3 minutes trying to keep his diseases off of me and suddenly a paladin ran by, stopped and came back to help. He was only level 50 though, and since the DK was probably right around 62 or 63 guessing from his heath we thought we were toast. I just kept chilling him and freezing him in place and lighting him up in between my 60 percent plus chance to miss due to level differences, and between the Pally self heals, my freezing and kiting, we were able to get him down fairly low before he killed the Pally finally. I managed to keep him off of me for a while longer and kept chipping his health down and finally killed him. Not only did I kill him, but he was my final kill for my 'That Takes Class' achieve. So had to add that. I know this thread is old but... well reliving glory days... =)
