I am really bad at making macro's, thou I have given it a shot. How would I bind
/petattack
/cast hunter's mark
to my right click, while only activating with a shift modifier leaving the unmodified right click alone?

Meant to put this is Macro's section, but I guess this is fitting too if anyone could help!

Well, that's not done from macros, but from keybinds. You take this macro, put it on your bars, and bind it from the Blizzard UI (enter keybinds, check the macro's position on the bars, like bar4 5th space, and bind shift+rightclick) although something like Bartender is way more easier:)
The shift modifiers are used in macros for 2 different abilities, like when u right click u do arcane shot, but when u press shift and right click you cast hunter's mark. The way you do it, it's only one ability, so there is only a simple keybind:) also, should look like this
#showtooltip
/cast hunter's mark
/petattack
however...:P this is just personal opinion, but I tend to do Hunter's Mark before we start the encounter, and having such a macro will aggro the boss, and possibly wipe the raid/party. If you use it for pvp it's nice, rogues will hate you:P

Alright thanks. So get bartender and use that to bind it to my Right Click button, but how do I make it so I can still use normal right click functions?

bartender just makes it easier to keybind it, atleast for me, I find it easier to just shift+right click on the ability rather than search where is bar5 ability 8 located, but you can bind it just as well without bartender or any addons. Now, this macro specifies nothing about normal right click. If you keybind it to shift right click, nothing will be specified there either, so that will just remain default.

Did exactly what I was looking for, thanks!

Just to make sure you understand why there is nothing done with right click:
"To make the macro do something else when you hold down a modifier key(shift, ctrl or alt) we're gonna add , or .
This is pretty straightforward, you add it between /cast and your spell so it looks like the example below.
/cast blind
But this isn't enough for it to be actually worth making the macro, as you might as well just keybind it with shift at this point
. To actually make it useful and safe some space we're gonna have to add something the macro will do when the modifier key isn't pressed. To do this you add ; behind it and then the name of the spell/item you want it to use when you don't press the modifier key like in the example below.
/cast blind; kick
The macro will now use kick if you press it without holding shift, and cast blind if you hold down shift."

Now , macros need to be activated. You either click on it, or press it's corresponding keybind. Let's pretend this macro is on R. Pressing R will kick, pressing shift R will blind. You can achieve the same thing making 2 macros, one for kick, one for blind, and keybind them to R, respectively for shift R. The macro you suggested has only one (considered 1:P) ability, hunter's mark and petattack. That way if you bound shift+right click to it, will activate, but since there is no modifier in the macro, nor a second ability, it just totally leave normal right click do it's default.
You're welcome, glad it worked:)
