Blizzard hates me!

I opened a ticket in game, and the reply was to ask at a community site, as lots of other people have asked what I asked, apparently.
My question is why do I lose at the vast majority of random BGs I join?
Like 95%, or feels like almost 100% of the time.
I know the easy answer is, I suck. My question is, then, why does it seem every BG I join everyone says "we never win, this faction sucks..." The people I am always grouped with are beaten before the BG even starts. "I died again, thats it, I am standing in the corner and watching them win, just let them win guys...."
Plus, I may not be a master BGer by any means but I do get the concept of all the battlegrounds, but I am stuck with people, all the time who seem to be clueless. Example, EOtS, my entire team runs for the flag, 2 minutes into the game and we are being four capped, yet my entire team is still in the middle, huh, guys? What are you going to do with the flag once you get it? But even with them all there they don't get it..
Thats my team, many of you have seen me and my loser team out there, and could not stop laughing your **** off. Why am I stuck with these people, BG after BG, I could tell even more stories of utter fail, I see them 5 to 10 times a day.
Plus, my other question is, in EOtS a couple days ago, getting four capped again, I suddenly got the desrter debuff 30 seconds from the end of the BG, anyone know why that happened? I did not leave it even..to be so hummilated again, and plus having to wait 15 minutes to join another BG, it was...not fun.
My main faction is horde, but I thought it was a faction thing, so I made two 85 alliance, but it seems when I switch to my alliance, all my loser horde friends switch with me, and still get pwned over and over.
Well, any advise or otherwise would be appreciated.

That's just how life in a bg goes. Everyone loses 8 out of 10 bgs. Don't try to understand it. It's like trying to make sense of the other sex.
Now, there are ways you can improve your odds (in the smaller bgs).
. Check the scoreboard beforehand to see who has joined as healers, both for your team and the enemy's.
. Try to protect your own healers. The longer they are alive, the more DPS the rest can do.
. Focusfire enemy healers and be vocal about it. "X is a healer. Focus X!"
. Use your CC abilities on the healers. If the enemy healers are dead/CCed, their DPS will die.
. Try to "lead" your team if noone else does it. Keep it short and simple. You'll probably have to give it a few tries to see what works and what doesn't. But, any tactics, even inferior ones, are better than none.
. Look for inactive/bots and report them.
I PvP as a healer and my bgs are very much hit'n'miss. In one I am the god of healing, topping the meters and keeping my team alive so they can rain havoc upon the other team. In the next, I am focusfired and CCed into oblivion before I can barely cast a single heal. I'm sure you can guess which we win and which we lose.

In a RBG, you'll get grouped with 9/14/39 other players. The more players you don't know, the more likely something will go wrong.
Best thing is to just state what to do before the BG starts and hope for the best. There is usually 1 or 2 others that will listen while the rest will do whatever they want.

Roll a healer and get good at your healer. When I was a H pally in wrath I won over 70% of my bgs. A good healer can carry even a bad team. In wrath my H pally did 2-4 million healing a BG. I don't see many healers doing that even in cata right now when I look at the meters. Its all about healers knowing how to kite, when to trinket, and when to blow CDs.
As a dps, you really can't carry your team. Its possible for a dps to kill a badly geared healer 1v1, but usually you get peeled off the healer or a second healer keeps the other healer up. I currently play a rogue and all I can do is stick on the healer until I think I have enough cds up that I can smoke bomb and burst, praying some other dps would have enough brains to help out. Granted, if I had geared my rogue to Max - I would be carrying legendary daggers, heroic 2 set T-13, and heroic vial. But if I wanted heroic vial I would have to be human... which is where the other gap in PvP is...
Allies have the better racials. People can argue it isn't true, but most serious pvpers are either human or undead. Those that are not those two races are probably playing a class that those races cannot be. Humans are perfered. The extra trinket slot is amazing for any class. For that reason serious pvpers go alliance.

Does anyone know why I got deserter that one time while still on a BG? The BG was not over but close to being over.

Someone might have reported you afk. I've had it happen to me a time or two when I was working on getting geared up. Who really knows however.

Find the pvp players on your realm see if you can arrange some premade runs, otherwise your at the mercy of random grouping and as you have already seen that rarely turns out as a win.

Eh, I report before the game even starts people that are undergeared (100k HP and lower). They are people that can get 2 shot so I try to get rid of them. I usually report the whole team however at the start to get rid of the bots as well. I just pay special attention at getting rid of the undergeared.

The worst PvPers are the smart-mouthed 14-year-old mid-fighting road-warriors who respond with "umad bro?" every time someone asks them to focus the flag/FC/demo/tower/etc.
Try to do your BGs when those kids are in bed/school. Seriously, it makes a HUGE difference. Even losing can be fun if you know both teams have played well.
So true. I work nights so generally play during the mid morning/afternoon and notice I win more games these times then when I play on weekends. That being said, get a premade going. If you have a vent server, post it up in a battleground. Get people to join, not everyone who joins will be super geared, or even skilled but none of that matters if you have a strategy. Last weekend for example Isle of Conquest was the call to arms. I managed to get about 35 people together, took about an hour, from my server and others I met in the games I was playing. We played around 40 games and won 38. We generally had more deaths than kills, but that didn't matter. What mattered is we had a sound plan and stuck to it.
