We disabled forums temporarily while doing maintenance. In the future maybe we'll have a better notice page than just redirecting but it was a quick fix.

That would be great I checked the wowhead news site and your twitter page for an update neither of which panned out.
Also this site

has had wowhead listed as up and down like a yo-yo for the last couple days.

Are you using Chrome? I noticed both

and I were having issues with it. I tried deleting my cache and that helped me out earlier.
It may also work for any browser as well.

I have been using Chrome and IE for the last few days and it really isnt making a difference which browser I use. Deleted cache in both still not working properly.

the links seem to work if you go in via mop.wowhead.com, but if you do it through the live site they return an error

The links aren't broken. They were redirected while we were troubleshooting the servers yesterday, and your browser has cached that.

Are you still doing maintanence? Or are you sure about the cached theory? Because I've removed my history for the site and tried to access them again and I still get Wowhead's personal "Page Not Found" error screen.

Maintenance is over. Removing history isn't the same - you'll need to clear your cache, which is the saved cookies.
