Or the guild disbands, figured why not this thread.
Your guild leader denies that the alt he was on totally did not ninja that loot, even though he said "brb logging on alt" earlier.
Edit: Here's another sign, when you can't remember to double check how you post a title to make sure its correct.

when you have over 50 differant people in your guild (not characters, people).
and not even 10 of them turn up for a raid.

*Instead of signing up/raiding at the times the guild sets up raids, you go with PUGs or other guilds.
*When signed up for a raid with the guild, you still don't show up.
*When the guildies are all online and ready to try to progress, you are already saved because of the PUGs you ran with.
*At the end of the week, when half the guild didn't get to raid stuff because the other half were "already saved" due to PUGs, you gripe and complain that this guild doesn't raid enough, there's no progression, etc. etc. (See above about not showing up to raids and already being saved to them thus making it impossible to raid with the guild).
*After griping about how the guild "isn't progressing" enough due to your sabotage of it, you start holding meetings in a private channel on vent to talk with other guildies about this "new raiding guild" being formed.
And presto! less than a week later half the guild leaves, including several who actually DID show up for raids they signed up for. But of course the ones leaving still "really like" the guild, and are going to "come back and help out" the low level alts and freshly dinged 80's that are left, along with a couple who showed up and worked hard in raids, but somehow missed the memo about the latest guild flavor of the month.
Maybe this should actually go in a post about "how to kill a guild in ten easy steps!"

thats pretty much what happens to alot of guilds nowdays. people just dont care about all the effort and time the GM and officers have put into the guild to make it a nice place, and when they r trying to progress, their members just dont care and do whatever they want. they pretty much do what you just said.
i absolutely hate people like that.

Guild/Raid leader posts a time for 25 Man raid in Calander and expects all those who accept to turn up 5-15 minutes early, 28 people accept but at two minutes to raid the only people online are yourself and two others (
including an 'almost 80' level 79
) wondering where everyone is, why the leader hasn't been on in over two days and all you can think to type is
/gquit
.

You come on your healing alt and suddenly
(A-guild- Whispers): CAN I HAVE SOME HELP WITH ST I NEED ONE TANK
(B-guild- Whispers): HI CAN I HAVE SOME STUFF FROM NAXX?
(C-random- Whispers): one of your guildies told me you could run me and a PuG through dm.
GM: I would like everyone to donate at least one Uld. drop from last night's (failed) raid to boost our needy (2000k) GV.

You were in CAT on Baelgun, weren't you? *chuckle*It isn't an isolated incident. I was getting ready to ask him what server he was on because that sounded EXACTLY like my guild.

The GM logged on early one morning when nobody else was around and emptied the guild bank filling it with stacks of Ice Cold Milk, then changed the guild message of the day to "None of you are getting enough calcium." then didn't log back in for almost two days.
He put everything back after that, and I didn't quit because I thought it was hilarious, but two other people did. No sense of humor.

When your guild leader starts running a few guild members in higher-tier raids with his former guild. Oh, but, only those who have earned the position get to go... riiiiight.
