To be fair he does bring up a few good points. Still, quitting over this... I'm surprised he didn't quit over the heroic nerfs and the like...

He said it's discontinued until further notice.

It isn't the first time he had quitted WoW, he said that he had taken long periods of time away from the game before.

He has brought up some valid points about Blizzards approach towards content difficulty and how they could actually cater to a wider audience in a better manner.
Quitting over it though, does seem a bit childish, although it is his money so he can choose do what he pleases. Apparently he has quit in the past over similar nerfs but has returned so its hard to believe that this will be a permanent thing. (heck, we all come back)
And not to give to much away, but for those who follow him and his Daily show, he will be continuing his Q&A segment as per usual.

Well that's too bad.
I'll still watch his "WTF is-" videos, he's still a good broadcaster.

Hey at least he is quitting cause he is fed up with it; rather then people who are still complaining about the game, but keep paying Blizzard.

Exactly, I don't think it's childish to stop paying for a service you're not happy with.
Maybe now he'll come out with a Telara Daily series... (lol)

I have pretty huge doubts about that, to be honest.
(He wasn't exactly happy about RIFT)

I never had heard of this person nor seen any of his videos, but he pretty much parallel my thoughts and post. He represents the dieing voices of those players who loved BC type contents and raiding.
Someone who had the capacity to see the game/community from multiple perspectives instead of just a "me only" one. I knew Blizzard wouldn't hold to their guns.
Using only my own guild and familiar friends as reference, most of the people quitting are my longest playing members(pre-wrath). I guess the Nexus of Pre-wrath/wrath babies that Cata created caused too many grievances for older players to tolerate anymore.
The "wrath babies" have gained too much moment for Cata to have been able to turn the trend around in regards to play style as the next patch bares out.

I don't really care for the direction Blizzard is taking either, but I am still enjoying the game. If things continue this way, that could certainly change.
