The book's decent but not all that brilliant, and the film looks like a generic zombie action popcorn flick, which the book... wasn't.

I honestly think that World War Z is one of the best zombie books that has come out in a very long time.
And that movie looks like utter %^&*; I really wish they weren't allowed to call it that, since it means we'll never see a good version of it, unless someone makes a tv mini-series about it instead.

I honestly think that World War Z is one of the best zombie books that has come out in a very long time.
The premise is interesting; a zombie apocalypse analyzed in terms of politics and international relations, and it's not poorly written.
However, the author has the same knowledge of international politics as a lemming, which makes the book extremely American-centric. The only interesting parts are the ones in the United States, if that. But the ones in other countries come off as prejudicial and poorly thought out. What he does with Russia seems to have been pulled solely out of his ass.
A real shame to think it's written by Mel Brook's son.

And the 'teaser' for Season 4.

Looks pretty good. I'm guessing whatever they all kept freaking out about is either the head chopper, or that sociopath kid that kills his brother.

I'm sorry, but this chick does not look or sound human.

Poor little piggies :'(
That actually bothered me, I have a thing for pigs... Also Carol's getting kind of annoying.

Way to bring the Rick and Tyrese fight out of nowhere, and destroy the impact of the scene. No emotional tension on both sides, no history of friendship.
$%^& it, I'm done with this show !@#$ting on the source materiel. These writers don't have half the brains, or 1/10 the balls that Kirkman does.
And for the record, when there's an epidemic going around killing people, you'd think these pigs would learn to cover their mouths when they talk.

I...I'm not sure what to think there.

I say it should be a tie in to Breaking Bad where the blue meth, as featured in season 2, turns out to be what caused the Zombie outbreak, and the show is Walt and Jesse killing zombies.
Yea.. I'd watch that show...

So re-reading Rise of the Governor right now...hm, wonder where they got the idea of a pair of sisters and an old man from lol.
Read the first part of Fall of the Governor...dear god, the torture scene, that was a thousand times worse then what it was in the comic.
As for the show; the mid-season finale is going to interesting, but damn, if it follows the comic, it's gonna be depressing as &*!@.
Well it was depressing as %^&*....but a good mid-season finale. But so many last minute swaps.

Soooooooo did not see that coming.
Tyreese and the girls grabbed Judith, looks like I owe a friend a pop.
All in all, a nice second episode and a little better then last weeks.
Edit: Also.....Wow, Abraham already? Da !@#$ is up with that?

Dear goddess...that episode....where is Carl when you need him.
Though, I called it a while back, saw Lizzie pulling a Ben and Carol being the one to pull the trigger.

Of Mice and Men much?
Definitely felt some influence there. Foreshadowed by the mice and the dead rabbit.
