I asked my girlfriend to marry me last night. She said yes! It was our first night together in our new house.
I feel so grown up :P
Big congratulations man!
Because it's already drilled into their minds.
So deep it's almost impossible to change it.
But why? Throughout your childhood years, cynicism and critical thinking aren't traits that you yet possess. We develop these during our teenage years, and many of us will then rebel against all we'd been told during childhood (I know I did). During our 20s, while we may have mellowed from our hormone-fuelled teenage days, we still keep an open mind; our doctrine remains fluid, so to speak. We are still open to new ideas, willing to accept change, and then BAM! It's my 30th birthday, everything that I currently believe about the world is now set in stone, and I will not change my opinion about anything from now until the day I die.

Wow Pachuca, fantastic news. May you have a long and fulfilling relationship.
As for 30: that happens to be right around the life expectancy for a human for most of the past million years. Our system wasn't designed to last for 80 years. There are neurological changes , plus there are issues of where people are in their life development. By 30, we have our life trajectory in place, and it gets harder to take sharp turns.
That's all just generalization though. I happen to know eople in their 40s who have very fluid minds, and are constantly learning and taking sharp turns in their lives. (Me, for example ;) But we're definitely the minority.
I'd just encourage you to watch your own mind as you hurtle toward 30. See how you start to get more comfortable in your own life, start to think you understand how things work. Hopefully you'll get a bit scared seeing it happen to you, and that will help you stay young even as you grow older.

Doing alright. Back home in Utah on the western side of the continent again.
I'm trying to get into school, but money is screwing me over. I qualify for nothing on my own and my parents refuse to cosign for anything. It's just a matter of finding a way to pay for school while I'm going.
I've been away from WoW since mid Feb; i've missed it (mainly, my priest, since i had been playing my shaman just before i quit) terribly. Just re-subscribed on Sunday, and I am trying to get back into the groove of things.

You will always get overzealous tanks. And as a tank you will always notice overzealous DPS. Hate to say it, but it probably won't tone down until you hit Cataclysm dungeons.
The problem with a lot of tanks is they know that they have the rest of the group wrapped around their little finger, because if they get kicked the rest of the group has a long wait. Because of this, some will carry on like arseholes, doing as they please, knowing it won't get them kicked.
All I can suggest is to
politely
ask the tank in party chat to mind your mana. (Always do it in party chat rather than whisper, you want the DPS to see it as it may help them be more sympathetic to your cause later on.) One of three things will happen here: he will either smart-mouth you; continue tanking badly; or shape up and start tanking properly.
If he smart-mouths you, grin and bear it, try to keep up. But vote-kick him at the
first
wipe (don't pussy-foot around, it's better to wait for a tank than deal with a bad one). If he doesn't smart-mouth, but continues to tank badly, warn him again after the first wipe, and vote-kick him after any further misdemeanors.

Firefox: Totally not trying to be like Chrome.
Used to use Firefox religiously, but I find Chrome to be
so much
quicker.
