Recycling Old Content.... That's a no no.

Yeah, actually it is pretty lazy. The biggest part of Cataclysm was rehashing old material. Blizzard ran their mouths about how hard leveling was going to be. How it was going to take as long if not longer to get to 85 than it did to 80. When in fact it was just what it looks, like half an expansion worth of crap.
The heroics at launch contained a rehashed SFK, Deadmines oh and they tossed Ironforge some new skins and added some mobs. Now we're getting two more heroics that no matter how the half wit mouth pieces at blizzard and their fangirls try to spin it, are simple rehashes of old content. "oh we're progressing the story by going back".
They updated the whole world of Azeroth (Besides Northrend), remodeled EVERY zone and and gave EVERY zone new quests, updated EVERY classic instance including quests, added 5 fairly large completely new zones, a whole mess of new heroics, 3 challenging new raids, updated and remodeled every major city...
And you think they did it because they are lazy? Anyone remember how big the Xpac was to download? People were complaining about the 12-14gb download everyday here for a while. That's a lot of new content.
Deadmines and SFK are more new than they are old. The name and the basic map layout are the same... That's it. And on top of that, they are some of the best heroics in Cata. Redoing the old instances is not lazy, its just good fun. It's a throwback to when we first started, except now its cutting edge again. You never like to go back and play old Nintendo games or anything? Nostalgia.
Fact: Cataclysm has more NEW content than any previous xpac. (And better content than WotLK IMO)
If you don't like it so much, stop paying these "lazy devs" 15 bucks a month and go play Rift. I'm not saying this to be a !@#$%^, I'm just saying, I wouldn't pay for a game that bothered me so much. And if I really believed that the devs were just lazy money mongerers, I wouldn't want to play their sub-par game. Totalbiscuit has a good view on that.
Edit: And before someone says it, I'm not just a Blizzard fanboy. Blizzard often is guilty of a bit of whats said here, look at Naxx in wrath. THAT you can call being a bit lazy. They left almost everything the same, and actually made most of it easier.

they only rehashed the environement, all the bosses are new and with new mechanics, go test it on the ptr before you start QQing about something you don't know
But if they did that, they wouldn't be able to QQ about it now would they?

Wait, back it up a sec: Blizzard is giving us not one, but TWO troll instances that we can do at max level that were both fun when they were current, and people are finding reasons to complain? What ever happened to troll instances being awesome period? I don't care if they're reused or recycled; I never did ZG or ZA in their prime, and even if you did it's been years since then. It's not like Blizzard's literally copying and pasting everything in each instance, either. From the sounds of it they're both getting the Cataclysm treatment, which, if they're anything like the other heroics (DM, SFK) that got the Heroic upgrade, I have no doubt that ZA and ZG will be incredibly fun.

You guys don't remember Ony lvl 80 or Naxx lvl 80 do you? That was COMPLETLY reused content, ALL of it. Heroic Deadmines and SFK: Reused content, just changed (Like H ZG and ZA). If you look back on Blizz's past in WotLK and Cata, there is atleast 4+ showings of Reused content. GET THE BLOOD HELLS OVER IT! I'm just p.o.ed there is Not one but TWO (Jormanger Worms) Troll instances.
I see it now:
"Zul'reoccuring-theme-because-blizz-ran-out-of-creativity-for-new-instance-ideas" anyone?

/sigh
Onyxia was there for fun; a way to celebrate 5 years of Warcraft.
Naxx was added in because it made Blizzard sad that only about 5% of people ever saw the instance; making it the new starter raid let a *!@# ton of new people experience the instance in a new way.

Making the basis of your argument your opinion (backed up solely by your opinion), and coupling it with your clever ad hominems, really makes for an effective and intelligent response.

new mechanics
Wat? That is
exactly
what is changing and you point it out as a problem?
The only thing Blizzard is not remaking is the zones and that fits beautifully into lore because of the fact that many people have stated: the story continues.

I can assure you that competing MMO's were ecstatic to see them refuse to put in Rag's new raid zone in patch 4.1.
It is blatantly obvious Blizzard is pulling more and more people from WoW to work on Titan they are banking on Titan being the next big thing.
They won't be shutting down WoW until it becomes unprofitable to keep it going, which likely won't happen for a long time but I think they want Titan to be a huge smash hit and thus the best people being shifted over.

Lol, that's like saying that people who work on Diablo are being pulled from the Warcraft pool.

lol, what are you talking about?
It's called continuity. You know, a story? Years have passed since Vanilla, of course Stranglethorn Vale will change! Of course NPC's will change (see Mankrik).
Think: if they didn't change Azeroth, they would have created a new continent for the 80-85 questing. That would mean more travelling, and more QQ by players.
It's taken Blizzard 3+ years working on Cataclysm, and you call them lazy?

So you think that they aren't using their best people on Titan? I mean if you want to make the greatest MMO ever you probably pull in people from other projects.
Its not like they just hire a bunch of guys right out of school and go hey you guys make a brand new game and make it AMAZING!
kk thanks I will come check on it in 3 years.
While I'm sure Titan has plenty of new developers on it that might have never worked with Blizzard before this I think the project probably has quite a few old school WoW developers it helps explain why content has gone downhill since BC.
I mean its either that or they are lazy ToC is the laziest Raid zone in the history of the game. ICC took FOREVER to come out and then they had the gall to lock its progression points. Cataclysm raids are fairly good overall but again they drag their feet on bringing out Rag's which can likely only mean one thing they are understaffed or they just don't have their best MMO developers on it.

When you start a big project, you hire more workers.

Or it could mean they want people to use the new trll dungeons first and let people clear raid content.
