Hmm...let's attack this from another angle. Why do you care why I care?

So...basically it boils down to your reason for want 25-man exclusive pixels is better than my reason for wanting non-restriction of pixels.

I think that the game experience and community are definitely more worthwhile considerations than the distribution of purple pixels.
Do you disagree?
I agree that game experience and community are worthwhile considerations. I disagree that "the distribution of purple pixels" is less valid - because you're arguing a topic of subjective nature.

I thought Wrath of the Lich Kind was pretty good. And fun. I enjoyed it.

How does the subjectivity of the topic make your opinion more correct?
It doesn't, nor did I say that anywhere. Nor does the subjectivity of the topic make
your
opinion any more correct.
Isn't that a contradiction? If your claim is that the topic is subjective, then therefore your own opinion cannot be correct at all. Yet by virtue of holding it, you believe your own opinion is more correct, otherwise you wouldn't have such an opinion.
As I said, I understand that it's just my opinion. I didn't attempt to paint it as anything but that. However, just as you clearly consider
your
opinion more important, so I consider
mine
more important.

It's my opinion that Aestu is an awesome dude.
Since that is my opinion, it can't be correct.
Therefore, Aestu is not an awesome dude.

I don't know, but it works for you.
Try reading this a little slower:

Yes, I do.

So...as long as you are in a end-game guild doing the hard modes it's fine to cry over epics (like not getting a mount?), but you are not allowed to want them if you, by any chance, what ever it is, are NOT raiding on that level, because you are not involved in the social aspect of the game (aka...end game raiding)?
That sounds awfully lot like raider elitism to me. Since when is being in a guild with friends, and jumping on board an PUG not using the social aspect of the game? People play the game for different reasons, and yours is NO better then anybody elses. As I pointed out in other discussions with you: stop imposing your expectations on other people. In MY world I live on MY way. Have fun in yours.
This is why raiders detest so-called casuals like you who really just play for loot and the delusion of prestige...because you really aren't casual at all...just someone who takes the game seriously - is hardcore - but is bad at it and wants to drag everyone else down to your level.
I don't think btw, that I ever said I consider myself a 'casual', nor that I am after welfare epics, or that I think that skill should not reflect the gear people get . Learn to make a difference between a discusion from a theoretic point of view and that from a personal point of view. You drag everyting instantly into personal, while often that isn't even the case, which makes it horribly annoying to have a proper discussion with you.On the moment you do that, you are already going so dead wrong that the rest of your points just get lost.
I'll be ahead of your though...since Karazhan I've been with the same group of about 10 of people. That is a damn long time. Have you been in a guild that long? Very social too. Met loads of them over time. I can tell you that we struggle. Now...if I would have taken the game so serious, and would only play for loot, as you so gladly like to think...I could have left ages ago. About every other guild on my server is looking for players...let alone a holy priest with considerable raiding experience under her belt, so a new place would have found within minutes. But I didn't. I sticked with my group, trying to come up with ways to make things better.
Yes I care for raiding. I like raiding. I like the challenge. I like being in group of people I know and care for and work towards a common goal. I like getting the feeling of reward, by not just seeing the boss dead on the floor but by improving my toon so that the next challenge I can also overtake. But I play it on another level then others. I accept that I play in a guild where my friends have shift work, where one of the guys half way a boss says he has to go because his boss needs him on a riot down town, that people can't play because their mother has come over from another country so we are without a tank and a healer for 3 weeks. I accepted that I probably will never see a LK kill with my guild.
*I* don't take the game so serious that I will server transfer, leaving my friends behind to get some damn pixels from another guild.
Now...stop pointing at others people sawdust and take out that damn beam out of your own eyes.
