Think about it that way. The time they do not spend remodeling something when a current model can used, is time they can use to spend on something else.

Where, exactly, is that money going, if not to the game? And if it is going to the game, why not to new models or hell, just a flat better game engine?
Poor argument is poor.

poor understanding is poor. WoW is part of a business. just because WoW earns the money, doesn't mean that money will be spent on the game.

Are you an idiot? That's not what I'm talking about at all.
We're talking about the theoretical money "saved" by not upgrading the models. This "money" is part of the budget set to the WoW developers, because, oh yeah, companies set budgets to different areas of work.
I'm just asking where the money in the budget goes, and if it would (and it most likely would) be better spent on new Models rather then being extra money in Blizzard's pocket (as Loque suggested).

Let's get this thread back on topic now, alright? And, and the same time, keep a civil tone.

More testing going on. I'm getting used to the new focus mechanics, I start enjoing it. On a side note, I've rolled a new level 1 human hunter to check the old starting zone. Woah.... amazing. Better rewards, nice stuff overall. Plus... using the heirloom bow it's like chating mode.

Pure PTR experience: Im not liking the new focus system and talent changes.
MM: Too much steady shot spam. A rather boring spec that feels unchanged. Pvp wise, I hate the new Aimed shot cast. Only have enough focus to push two attacks, with only 3 instants to pick from. After your opponent shrugs off your pathetic aimed shot/arcane shot (or heals it), you are stuck steady shot spamming due to having no focus for anything for a long time. Lemme tell you, its worse than having zero mana and having to use Aspect of the Viper. I feel helpless trying to steady shot a moving target waiting for my focus to slooooowly regen back up. Shots cost too much and having to steady is a pain in the ass.
BM: Damage is broken, pets doing 10k each Kill Command. The only spec Ive tried that I dont feel focus starved. Regen is good, and Im actually not using steady shot as much as MM due to the short KC CD. Having a cool pet kind of makes up for the rather boring shot rotation. The only thing new BM is getting is using Cobra shot instead of steady, which looks exactly the same. All hunters get Kill Command and Cobra shot, BM gets nothing "new and unique" minus the cool TRex. Bestial Wrath feels a bit weak now that it doesnt break CC. Im digging the huge crits my pet can do and Sprit Beast's heal has saved me many times in bgs. I am expecting no new or creative changes to BM, and for pet damage to tank.

NO, the talents are better, but still screwed up.
I xfered my main hunter to the ptr, and I find that there is NO way to talent hit in any of the three trees.
The old icon is there but it is named for the old efficiency talent.
ATM I am sitting at 6.02% hit and who knows what it really supposed to be?

Beta - BM is fun somewhat. Focus fire is nice thing to use (but gets old). Kill command is off the charts (i've hit it in wrath and had it land for 48k crit (22k on a tenacity pet o.o)). With 2pc t5 and careful pulling, I can quest in the 85 zones rather effectively. (traps and what not). I tend not to run out of focus for shots unless I really get cornered by something. Fox should make movement heavy fights easier. I don't really use it much atm simply because stuff dies pretty quick. Also, normal mobs having 95k health...not fun. Haven't reached 84 yet. Also, with nerfed focus regen to pets, it gets made up with the Sic' Em talent. It procs pretty often. (slightly obvious, BM has op pvp talents).
MM- Don't really like the rng of aimed shot. 60% is high, but...i've gone a good 30 seconds of pure steadies without a single proc. Also, kill command hits pretty hard in this spec too. (around 14 for me).
Surv- Haven't tested.

Still having focus issues this far in to testing? (not on beta or the ptr so I have no idea)
The answer is yes.
Unless it's intentional.. which means we're going to suck.
