I honestly don't get the axe/diamonds/horse thing.
I really hope it's just something I'm missing since it's pretty up there
(And not bashing, just wondering)
Old Spice Guy. Look him up, or read previous pages. It's said multiple times.

It's a reference to Old Spice's recent marketing campaign.

Most of these haikos arn't really deserving of being picked, there are some good ones, but I guess it's just the first day so I'm not going to judge.

I liked the tauren one, but most are based on internet penomenon and popular point of views, I am yet to see a really well thought one with true meaning which could be considered philisophical, I know my PoV matters not, but I must say that I beleive it's those kind of haiku which should be put up in majority (while still leaving some place to the less serious one, 7:3 or even 6:4 ratio would work)
Still great work, and congrats to everyone who got theirs put up
P.S. The arcane mage rotation one is still a cheat imho; I mean, "oneoneoneonetwo / oneoneoneoneoneoneone / etc .. YAY I MADE A HAIKU!", srsly?

I meant no offense with the haiku, I was just showing that I do have literary abilities, and the arcane mage one was not the only one I submitted. Apparently it was the wittiest (because from a poetic standpoint I surely entered ones that were better), and here we are.
The ratio thing is a good idea though, I agree with that.

"Lok'tar Ogar" which is Orcish for "My life for the Horde"
MAJOR fail rite there man.
Lok'tar Ogar means "Victory or Death" it's the phylosophy of the horde during combat, never retreat, fight untill victory is achieved, or untill everyone is dead.

I am sad my haiku isnt there :(
Me too.
These were poor choice in my honest opinion. (E.g. I'm not truly impressed with them.) Might sound a little selfish but it's just my opinion.

Well apparently we all need to dumb down our submissions if we want to make the polls.

No, read the description of the contest. There will be 10 PER DAY for voting. Maly screwed up today, only put 9. Tomorrow they're going to put up 11 to rectify the error.
