Complete Hellfire while randoming LFD. Once you complete Hellfire, you might be able to skip straight to Nagrand.

Ok...not sure why you'd skip Nagrand, most of the quests are kill X mobs, and those have been nerfed since TBC. If you have rest, Nagrand is
the
best place to level at 64.

Nagrand is gorgeous, the quest chain that brings Thrall to Outland is epic. Zangarmarsh is mysterious and covered with mushrooms tall as skyscrapers.
Yes, HFP is all red and monotonous, and I don't love it, but the whole of Outlands is not horrible.
Blade's Edge mountains is a bit crazy to get around, I will admit to not questing there much. Usually I can get to 68 just by doing HFP, Zangarmarsh, and some quests in Nagrand.
It shouldn't take too long to level past if you use LFD and do quests while waiting. If you know how to tank, and are geared for tanking, then you wouldn't even have to quest, just take your 2 second LFD queue and level in dungeons.

Yeah, back in TBC days, you got flying at 70 (68 if you were a Druid), and you likely had already done at least most of Blade's Edge. Cheap flying was 60% Speed in air and on ground. Yep, unless there was a mountain or chasm in your way, it was usually faster to ground mount.
Part of me misses the days of actually travelling to dungeons, but that part of me is off-set by not missing trawling Trade and LFG for 30min for a tank/healer.

I'm planning on leveling mostly through LFD. After 4 level 80's I'm sick of most zones. The dungeons do get boring but it goes pretty fast and it's not as bad as some of the quests can be.

i love outland...looks nice, easy quests, some interesting lore... like a cool drink of water after lvl's 55-58.
