Also, shifting the topic a bit. What about The Exodar? There have been some discussions about this, but not enough.I still want to see the closed wing opened up, some of the debris cleared, and some new structures built.
A new wing would be great

All I know is, if they have Nobundo, the most powerful shaman in the alliance, sitting in the Exodar while all the other shamans are out at the front lines I will be thoroughly and royally pissed.I would like to see Nobundo either guarding Thrall while he holds up the Maelstrom or leading the Earthen Ring elsewhere (e.g., Twilight Highlands).

If you QQ enough, or if they are losing enough business, they will do whatever is necessary to calm people down.Considering the people QQing about draenei were a vocal minority—and
didn't
have the decency to quit—I doubt it was about them losing business.

You know what makes me sad, they're completely ignoring all of the Troll's lore. I mean what the eff Blizzard, why can't they just grow an effing pair and ignore the fact that no one plays Troll except me and build on their Lore. I mean, the Trolls were around just as long as the Elves, if not longer, why can't they get their plot wrapped up. It's a shame to see Blizzard let their angry lore male pattern baldness take control of them.
But in all seriousness,
You are aware that Blizzard intentionally modified their own lore with a bullcrap story about a lost version of the Draenei.
You shouldn't even HAVE that race. The Draenei are all dead. Gone. They died when the Orcs, led by Nerz'hul, who was influenced by Sargeras, slaughtered them all in their own city and even killed the women and children. I can't remember where I read that but I'm pretty sure it was Blizzard's own lore. Before they changed it.
The Alliance should've gotten the Lost Ones race. Yeah, the ugly mofos with the Tentacles.
The Draenei have no potential for lore advancement because they HAVE NO LORE. There lore died in Black Temple. Suck it up, roll the race, and accept that Blizzard is making up their own lore now.

In all seriousness, sources please. Source each fact about them changing lore, etc. I'd like to see it.

You crap every draenei thread on the Awful Forums, and get away with it on account of the mods there being on crack. You not only think draenei ruined the lore, but that everyone who plays them is a lesser being (and treat them accordingly). And you think the game should be easier for incompetent tanks.
Know why I'd say that? Because your petulant fury sounds
eerily

He does have a point in Trolls getting zero lore for getting a face-full of sword all the time. The fact that he had a point in
one paragraph
doesn't make up for the remainder of the post being essentially a frothing threadcrap.

which trolls not getting lore?
the darkspear who are on the verge of leaving the horde despite years of loyal service
and are having an event of them regaining the echo isles with the assistance of the local loa spirits and troll druids(fail placement)?
the amani who we crushed there leaders back in bc?
the drakkari who in a desperate time killed there own gods?
frankly if anything its time they drop the trolls and pick up something else.First of all, trolls are awesome (even if the story behind druids so far
is
pathetic). And historically, they
have
gotten somewhat shorted in the lore department.
Secondly, don't feed the...ahem,
threadcrapper
.

It wasn't nerdrage it was a early morning post that frankly, I should've waited to post until I wasn't as tired.
But now that you brought up sources.
Source that Blizzard changed the lore to include the Draenei, check your manuals from Frozen Throne and Vanilla WoW, I can't remember exactly which one, but it conflicts with the Draenei lore from the Burning Crusade manual.
The source for the Orcs completely wiping out the Draenei came from Wowwiki (Not the greatest source, but the only one for complete WoW lore as far as I know.)
"As a test of the Horde's strength, Gul'dan and the Shadow Council guided the orcs into murdering every single Draenei they could find on their homeworld. The near-extermination of the Draenei, a race as old as his master Kil'jaeden, proved that the orcs were ready for the next slaughter."
http://www.wowwiki.com/Gul'dan
And yes I see it says near-extermination.
I'm not saying that the Draenei are ruining the lore of the game, I just think that for a race that was
pulled out of thin air, they've been given a lot of pretty good lore.

They need the good lore though. They are not only the oldest race in WoW, but also are some of the most powerful. If they didn't have that lore it would look like crap (you may say that it already looks like crap, and I kinda have to agree a bit. Outland was blood elf > draenei. To quote somebody earlier, the draenei seemed like cheap foils to the blood elves.) However, with everything else coming along, I'd really like to see the draenei do a little bit more...
Anyways, /end long ramble

The near-extermination of the DraeneiNote the wording; and as we later learn, it's 90% of the population. And the original versions of the Draenei have been in Warcraft since the start; the Eredar after all. As for the Lost Ones; the Lost ones are corrupted creatures like the Wretched for the Blood Elves, they hate all other races so they never would have joined either Alliance or Horde.

Okay...you came back and tried to defend your assertions. Since Arkar would be too much of a coward to do that, I
won't
presume that you're him and tell you to cram it. It wasn't nerdrage it was a early morning post that frankly, I should've waited to post until I wasn't as tired.No...it was nerdrage.

Source that Blizzard changed the lore to include the Draenei, check your manuals from Frozen Throne and Vanilla WoW, I can't remember exactly which one, but it conflicts with the Draenei lore from the Burning Crusade manual. There's
one
actual revision (as opposed to addition): the eredar not being involved in Sargeras's corruption. They were never the
only
players.
And yes I see it says near-extermination.In other words, you don't
have
a source for the orcs completely wiping out the draenei.
I'm not saying that the Draenei are ruining the lore of the game, I just think that for a race that was
pulled out of thin air, they've been given a lot of pretty good lore.Even if the "pulled out of thin air" accusation were particularly accurate to begin with (which it's not; although integrating them
into
the game could have been done better, they're an embellishment on previously established ideas), that would be a reason to give them
more
lore, not to leave them as one of the
least
-developed playable races in the game.
Just saying that Trolls are the new zombies.
And considering they're sometimes zombies, the shoe, it fits.Nah, zombies (*koffkoff
Forsaken
koffkoff*)have more lore than trolls.
To quote somebody earlier, the draenei seemed like cheap foils to the blood elves.I said that.
Note the wording; and as we later learn, it's 90% of the population.Oddly enough, he did point out that little self-contradiction.
And the original versions of the Draenei have been in Warcraft since the start; the Eredar after all.I think he complained about the retcon, too.
As for the Lost Ones; the Lost ones are corrupted creatures like the Wretched for the Blood Elves, they hate all other races so they never would have joined either Alliance or Horde.I think he's working off of the usual presumption that people only roll non-shaman draenei for the waggle. (Quite frankly, if I'd even been
thinking
of that, more of mine would bounce instead.)
(Captcha was "threatening picketing." Hmm.)

No, he actually said the Lost ones should have been the playable Draenei... which makes no sense because of what I said above, which is off their page in wowwiki heh(and yes Farseer I know you know that, just clarifying for other readers). He might have been referring to Akama and the Ashtongue Broken... but seeing as they didn't really get redeemed till the end of the expansion, they wouldn't have worked either(actually, considering that he said the Draenei lore 'dies' at Black Temple, that's probably exactly what he was talking about).

what
he was talking about. Then again, he called Lost Ones "ugly mofos with tentacles," which sounds more like Broken (Lost Ones have no tendrils). So yeah.
His claim that draenei have no potential for lore advancement? Still a load of bull, and I don't mean a tauren.

Aye; I want to know what happened with the Ashtongue, the Kurenai and others come Cata; considering all the new Elemental threats, the Broken of Outland should be on Azeroth helping to shore up some of the crumbling walls and the like(yes, it's a play on the strength and power of the Broken).
