I still can't imagine how people fall for this but I'm sure it does happen quite often.

I received a new scam attempt today, it wasn't the warning about selling/trading accounts but said something about confirming a recent password recovery (which I didn't do), and had a link to log in to "verify" the password.
It was actually scarily well done; none of the usual spelling mistakes and grammatical errors, the sender address looked legit - the whole thing looked just like one of the automated response messages from noreply@blizzard.com. Even the link destination looked good until I looked again and saw it was to "blattle.net" instead of battle...
Anyway, just a heads up and a reminder to be careful guys, looks like they are getting pretty sophisticated in their phishing methods.

Closing, there are tons of methods for being hacked, listing them all is just clutter and it is unlikely another will even even see it.
Posts on how to
protect yourself
and look for common methods of
scam
are much more productive posts.
