With the MS/OS /Roll way to hand out loot, Does armor type factor into who can /roll on it?
Like a Leather Caster item drops, should only druids roll on that or can Shamans, and Holy Pallys roll on it as well?
(In a guild Run BTW)
How does your guild handle Loot that drops in raids?

Our guild started using a new system last month. I'm not sure what it's actually called (or if anyone else even does it), but we just call it "Loot List Council". Basically each member sends the raid leader a list in order of the top 5 items that they would like for that week. If an item drop whoever has it listed the highest gets it. If two or more people have the item at the same spot, then the officers decide who gets it based on a.)past/current performance and b.)how large of an upgrade it is over their current piece. Anything that isn't on anyone's list is just /rolled for.

There is no "normal" lootrules for guildruns.
Me as a furywarrior just joined a new guild, won that procaxe on my first run, have been asking if I was allowed to roll on agilitynecks/rings/cloaks, they said I was allowed, also I saw the other furywarrior get the ArP bracers from Saurfang25.
So in my guild we're pretty free to roll on whatever the hell we want as long as we use our right mind, the bracers the other warrior won were BiS f.ex. bar hardmodes.
We use an EP/GP system with a 15% decay EVERY RAID, this makes stacking EP useless, the faster you get rid of it the less you lose.
Only done me first raid witht hem yesterday but I notice I can catch up on EP quickly, normaly you only become a member after being a trial for 4 weeks+ but they told me I can expect to be one within 2 weeks(member>trial at al time)
This is only one example, I have seen other good lootsystems, bit DKP, fixed DKP, it al works decently if used wisely, in my last guild f.ex. I wasn't even allowed to roll on my BiS rings as those had agility -_-

10-mans, we just roll mainspec first, then offspec.
Overall, non-written rule, don't horde all the loot.
There really isn't much loot competition in 10 mans...so less rules, the better. Focus on downing bosses, not loot.
