I am used to Wowhead being a wellspring of information. I use it as my go-to on everything. I've recently aimed to tame Gondria, and I noticed it had 400 comments. I thought to myself- how can there be 400 useful comments.
To any wowhead administrator that reads this, please go check Gondria's comment section, there are 300...
"I tamed Gondria at ?:?, I felt so lucky, I named him XXXXXXXX... He's so pretty.."
Please- for the love of not making this into another Thotbot, do something about this madness... It looks like Loque also suffers this plague, and it seems that Skoll is catching quickly.
Other than this, I love this site. I'm just informing you to keep the site as clean as possible, and as streamline for those who need useful information.

Whenever you see comments like this (or any other you don't feel are very helpful), just rate them down.
Some people insist on using Wowhead comments as their personal blog - while I do greatly appreciate that users take time to leave comments on the site that they may think are constructive, eventually these technically non-useful comments clutter up the page and make the real information more difficult to find. Of course someone can then choose to bite my head off over humorous comments becoming high-rated, since they are technically just as useless as any other, but its' the people's choice.
I'll look over the comments when I have the time, expect mass deletion of the comments like "I've been camping him for hours!!" (go outside and get some fresh air) and "I just tamed him on X realm at Y time!" (chances are high nobody from your realm who happens to be looking for him will notice the comment before that time is useless) - I'm sure some people will come rage on me because it affects their precious comment rating, but meh - I'm used to being the bad guy.

We also can not moderate what we don't see. Just continue reporting runaway pages, it is not possible for us to monitor all comments.

Amen to that Miyari...
While humorous comments can be nice, they do tend to get overly commented. I find it fruitless to down rate a comment that essentially has a massive positive count, tho the comment is completely not helpful. Call me the Fun Natzi because i report these, but i prefer to not dig through many comments that have no information to them.
I always see comments such as "How do I find this", "What happens if don't do that", and "where do I pick this up"... While these are useful questions, there is a reason for Forums.

Have you guys ever thought about placing a cap on comment ratings so that old and useless information can more easily be removed by the users?

To be honest, I went through and down-rated as many as possible, but my finger got tired of clicking all the -1 comments, and more appeared. Thanks for responding, I feel all giddy that you responded to my thread.
/blushes and giggles
It was just something I saw, and I know the standard you require for information is high, and I had never seen anything so ridiculous since the Shadowmourne pages...
Thank you, and I will report the "Run-aways" but I happily don't find many.
