Ok just read up on Blackhand.
Blackhand=Tyrrant
Hero non-the-less, just my opinion. He's not the smartest, but he's a military hero. Taking Stormwind, from what ive seen in-game, would be no small feat.
Also the company he kept. Though they manipulated or betrayed him, you have to admit keeping sadistic minds in your ranks is a smart strat move.
Gul'dan's manipulation made Blackhand the hero he was. So, to an extent Gul'dan is a stepping stone for Blackhand, and I think should be recognized for his contributions to the making of a hero. Just a lore uneducated person's opinion.
Doomhammer, though betrayin Blackhand, showed a great display of strat. by succedding Blackhand. IMO, dismissing Blackhand was a great move. Blackhand's gulibility was a liability

Hey wait, if his name is Bill he isn't nameless =OO
Bill is not his name, people merely refer to him as it for no apparent reason. His real name happened to be Frederick Percival Hardhelmet, but nobody remembers that.

Rend somewhat.
Zul'jin yes.
Kargath yes.
Cho'gall no.
Teron... depends how you look at it.
Varimathras no.
Just looked up Rend. He was a fine warrior, but he seems a lil mad, due to the succession of Doomhammer. I can see why he believes he is the heir to the Warchief title.
Cho'gall not a hero. A crazed ogre that aids a traitor, not a hero
A lil off topic, but how am I doin in my preception of the lore?

If I may. being Feared and Respected are not marks of a hero. Fear brings obidience from your followers. Respect is earned. He may have been a counter to the humans in the war, but that doesnt make him a hero. He like, his master Gul'dan, is a footnote to the success of Blackhand.
How did we go from Heros of the Alliance to Heros of the Horde?
But ty all for the feedback. My love for the game is growing more and more with each post, aside from my own.

Admiral Proudmoore, another racist (although not as severe as Garithos), is a hero
For the Second War yes, for the unprovoked assault on Durotar, no.

There's statues of people considered heroes of the Alliance as you enter Stormwind. You can read the plaques on the statues.
I believe that there's Khadgar, Turalyon, Kurdran Wildhammer, Alleria Windrunner, and someone else.

Is the Admiral racist as in all races, Horde only, like Garrosh and think all other races are weak, or like Staghelm thinking Humans are the superior race and the others are support races?
