Having to save Thrall sounds so wrong. He let himself get captured. :D
More then likely the Black Flight has something to do with it; there are no mages in the Alliance who are strong enough to face off with him heh.

Maybe he's Jaina's "special" prisoner.

Or the tabards are a "cover" - to make it look like it's Theramorians (I wonder if it's called that?), as an aftertouch of what happened in
Cycle of Hatred
.
Most humans should know that Jaina is those of the humans with the closest bond to Thrall.
