Moonkin Instance soloing

I'm looking for ways to make a little gold and see some of the old content I've never seen. I figure that with balance's high armor and powerful AoE, it's possible to solo some content. I would assume anything in BC where there are a lot of silence mechanics and/or things requiring interrupts could get a little hairy.
Obviously, all the vanilla 5-mans would be fine. What about any vanilla raids? Are all the BC 5-mans easy to solo? Any suggestions?

I'd say some BC regs and every vanilla 5 man excluding the 2nd half of UBRS when the CC spamming mobs come in followed shortly by Drakkisath who doesn't have terrible trouble killing any 80 that's unfamiliar with him.
Bear is still the best option for soloing but depending on what you intend to solo it isn't needed.

The big problem for moonkin soloing instances is that as soon as you need to heal, you drop all your armor and part of your damage. It still works when the damage income is low enough to be healed through while letting you dps or when you can burst the mob/boss down before dying, but in the end there are many cases where this becomes quite the problem.

My moonkin is only a 71 but I've soloed every vanilla instance through BRD while levelling (yes, I'm a sick puppy). Haven't soloed any BC stuff yet but I am just guessing that strategy for the later vanilla stuff will still mostly apply to BC instances. Make sure you are specced out in Natures Focus and Celestial Focus. Pushback is a pain while soloing instances. You mentioned silencing mechanics can be a pain and they are, so be alert and ready to switch whatever school you are spamming when you get silenced. Hope to heck you don't get silenced in Nature just when you need to heal; keep a pot and trinket heal ready for that emergency. In fact, if you can favour arcane over nature when attacking, to reduce the chances of nature silencing, that would be good. Throw a Typhoon and then a Barkskin prior to doing whatever heal(s) you think you need. This will help mitigate the vulnerability of coming out of form. You mentioned having AoE as a good thing. It is not so special while soloing an instance except when dealing with a large number of *non-elite* mobs (hello, Hurricane). When dealing with multiple elites, focus on bringing one down at a time. The important thing is to reduce the damage output of the group on you as you fight them. Kill one of three mobs and damage to you is down to 2 thirds, whereas if you bring all three down to 2 thirds HP each, you are sitll taking full damage. Controlling pulls is paramount so be super careful with any AoE (especially Starfall cause you can't see it's affect behind you). I personally almost never use Starfall while soloing unless I know I'm at a final boss or some real safe situation for it. Just want to add that this is just my own experience here and I am, admittedly, far from expert at this game, so anyone feel free to tell my where I am off base, but please flame gently....
