I'm really used to playing a Resto Shaman, thought i'd give my level 80 paladin a try at healing because it seems different
Here is my armory with some gear that i bought fairly cheap stuff and i can't seem to find any trinkets that aren't part of a quest i haven't done and either chose something else or just sold the reward... I'm pretty much broke now, all i really want to do is get enough badges to buy the full set of the t9 gear, even though i think it's ugly, and then work on getting me some pvp gear with the emblems
anyways here is my armor and what gear i have so far, could i heal most heroics( not including Toc, and the new Lich king ones)

Ps i know this question is asked all the time, but i don't think one more will hurt

ok your lucky i'm feeling generous tonight firstly though, how much of the good stuff (gold) do you have to sink as a rough figure (will greatly influence the list i give you). I'll edit on my lists as soon as they are done with profiler links (unless i get too lazy to make profiles)
ok laziness kicked in.
Gear:
The further to the left the item is, the better it is.

&

Some minor modifications i would make on this are...
Trinkets -
pendant of the violet eye
(if you feel like trying your kz luck) or
tears
... ok bugger this, your stats at current would cut the mustard for most of the old heroics which you could just farm to get some t9 into the mix of gear you have, don't get the t9 shoulders or helm though get the 245 offset pieces. Also switch your weapon for the kal'uak rep one.
If you can find a friendly tank or guild to pull you through some normals a few times then...
go for your life

You're fine. As long as it doesn't look at any offspec gear and decide on that basis you're good to go for ToC or ICC heroics, you're fine.

As much as it makes me cringe to say this: what he said is pretty much true. Based off of slasher's post I'm gonna go ahead and assume you're a holy pally (you're armory doesn't seem to want to load up for me), and healing heroics is a joke. Just avoid the three ICC heroics until you get t9 and you'll be fine.

Edit: I really don't have much gold at all, for some reason i can never get my epic gems to sale, or my flasks on my alt

You got the starter Ornate gear, that should sorta get you started. I would personally run the REGULAR ICC 5 mans and REGULAR ToC for some drops. Remember that you can pickup all the cloth, leather, and mail pieces in addition to the plate caster drops.
Here's a list of gear that drops from REGULAR ToC/ICC runs.
Regular Holy Paladin Gear List
