Mounts which just say, "Warlock!"

I'm curious which mounts are particularly worth "warclock cred" for you who participate here.
The Rusted Proto-Drake and Iron-Bound Proto-Drake, along with the Black Drake (black, with orange), speak to me.
I have to admit, I'm kind-of envious that the Death Knights get both a ground-mount and a flight mount all their own. (This, in addition to the +20% mount speed buff under Unholy) Technically, Warlocks, Paladins and Death Knights all get two mounts per class. But wouldn't it be cool if both Warlocks and Paladins could get some special, class-related flight-mounts? (Yeah, yeah... Warlocks have apparently been asking for this for some time)
Being Horde, and being formerly Forsaken (I switched to Orc not long after Race Change went live), I have been itching to get a bat mount, like you can get when you take a taxi out of the Forsaken lands.

It has been stated (in passing) that the designers are interested in getting us a "badass flying demon", until then... I enjoy my Headless Horseman Reins ;p
Dude! Why didn't I think of that? With felfire coming off his hooves, eyes and such, and red highlights, he's a perfect Lock mount.
I was only level 70 last Halloween.... getting to 70 by Hallow's Eve, being my big goal. (And then they changed the level requirements for the quests to 75) So, it being my favorite holiday, and this being one of my most coveted mounts, I got in with every raid I could for a chance at that mount. I'm gonna farmhoor that Horseman this year as much as possible, in order to try to get that mount!
I saw one of those the other day, flying through the sky near Dalaran. *salivates*
I'm an orc and I have my ground mount set to the zulian tiger(no, I didn't get it in wotlk like everyone else and their granny) and the flying one set to the twilight. Guess I'm a little more exotic.
Ony would seem like a nice mount. Fits well with all that evil warlock thing we have going on.
Totally cool mounts.... and it fits well with Orcishness. (It seems like 70% of the warlocks on my server are Forsaken, and another 25% are Blood Elves)
I've been jonesing to get the Black Drake. Not least, because orange is my favorite color. ;-)
(I may have to try for that tiger... the only tiger which Hordies can get, methinks?)

Call me old fashion, but I still roll around Northrend and elsewhere on my old school Dreadsteed. As for flying......the carpet will do.
I do envy you tailor types the carpet. I've only seen it a couple of times in the game, but it has a very dignified look to it.
One thing about the Dreadsteed? I swear that thing has WAY too many spikes coming off it. I actually favor the Felsteed more, for its sleek and more minimalist appearance. (But yeah, WoW isn't about minimalism... Someone in Blizzard's art department has a definite fetish for shoulders!)
I also avoid using the Dreadsteed in PvP, because I don't want to tip someone off that a Warlock is coming their way. They can click or mouse-over me, but the less time I give them to react, the more hurt and fear I can put on them. I suspect that, with my being an Orc, they tend to suspect I'm more of a slugfester when they see me coming.
And yeah, Warhollow, a Dreadsteed with wings (and less spike) would be very cool. I suspect that Blizzard may not desire to make anything cooler than
Invincible
though. Even if it were a skeletal or demonic-looking thing, without the flames, I'd be happy!
I totally plan on making a Mechano-Hog when I've the rep and have been able to level my engineering up enough. Not least, because of the side-car.

I'm going to have to agree with Russ, and I'll add that people who say drakes and such match the warlock stereotype well... you mid-as well be a dk or rogue /sigh, your simply craving for a dark-esque styled mount. The only true warlock mount is the dreadsteed period and again until a specific flying demon is released the carpet is the only logical match at this point.
A quick refresher inc. warlocks and demons themselves look down on necromancy and its...spawn.. as a lesser form of demonic magic. FOUL UNDEAD THING! *cough* yes.. continuing... Shame on you for wanting anything to do with it.
regarding drakes, nether is the only that will suffice and even then its a reach.
If as a warlock, if you don't see the reasoning of this, just reroll a dk already.. we don't hate you, but the real warlocks just don't want you.
The only notable exception to the stereotype is the eng. mounts.
End.

Good point on the lore regarding necromancy. Still... Forsaken Warlocks are fairly common, so... *shrug*
I don't particularly think dragons of any sort are a mismatch for the Warlock. I think the Black Drake, in particular, would look very nice under my OrcLock.

Now there's an idea...
What if there were a mount which didn't look like a mount? What if we Warlocks could sprout demon wings, and fly?
Heck... if there were a "mount" like this, dropping somewhere, it would be absolutely awesome! People would farm the living hell out of it.
(Pun intended)

There's a new loot-card mount on the way, which definitely seems very Warlockish:
the Blazing Hippogryph

Agreed. When are they going to let
demonology
fly! I mean it's just dissapointing that Druids get a
flight form
and but we get wings that can't fly. Oh and when they learn that skill they get 225 riding for free. We don't even get 75 riding for free with our free mount? Thankfully they do still have to pay for 300 riding skill like the rest of us.
Personally, fav flying mount just on looks is the Sunreaver Dragonhawk, the Headless Horsemans mount and the Winged Steed of the Ebon Blade.
Also wouldn't say no to the Brutal Nether Drake or the Magnificent Flying Carpet (only need another 50 tailoring i think :D).
