Okay, so I wan't to contribute, and I download the wowhead client but I can't click the "Upload" button. It's greyed out. I've closen AVG, WoW, Browser, even checked off some stuff in AVG LinkScanner. But I just can't click it. Really annoying.

Is this the Mac client or the PC client?

I'm having the same problem on Windows 7. I just installed the client on someone's recommendation. It installed fine but when I choose to upload it gets to 2% then hangs for a while then spits out an upload error message.
This is a different error—if you do have AVG, try disabling LinkScanner temporarily and see if that fixes the problem.

It's the PC client on a Windows Vista x64.

Have you checked to make sure the Looter addon is enabled in-game? There's an extreme few scenarios in which the button is actually greyed out - one being that the client has no data available to upload (

It's enabled.
Mine looks exactly like the screenshot, 'cept that they ALL look like "Pages". I.e.: Count 0 / Size 32

Hmm, those totals are populated by the WDB files generated by the game and would have some amounts regardless of whether or not the Wowhead addon is installed or running. Are you sure you have the Wowhead Client pointing to the correct directory in which you have installed World of Warcraft? If not, you can easily re-install the client and have it point to your current World of Warcraft directory.
Also, can you browse to your
\World of Warcraft\Cache\WDB\(locale)
directory and see if the WDB files located within have any filesizes? For example,
here's mine
.

A little problem there. My WDB files are located in "
C:\Users\Daniel\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Cache\WDB\enGB
"
Don't ask me why, but my WoW.exe is in a normal "
C:\Program files\wow
" folder.
And I can't change the folder unless there is a WoW.exe in it.

Oh duh, sorry for being stupid. I just copied the wow.exe over in that folder. It works now, could upload. Just have to make sure I dont press "Launch WoW" from your client :)

Uploaded, but I don't see no new tap with recipes or quests completed.

Got the same issue, it uploaded correctly the first time but now I can't upload, it rushes to 100% then freezes up and says unable to upload!
Sorry for posting in an old thread!

Grigor—this is a different issue, and it should be temporary. Just a problem with our server. We should be fixed now, let us know if you still have problems.

Gilgalas: Please post your issue in the other thread, so I can keep the different threads sorted. Thank you!
