Prologue-
Part 2))
When Jade slowly regained consciousness, she could feel the cold ground she was lying on. Her chest had stopped bleeding and soft green lines surrounded her body, repairing it. She heard soft breathing around her, indicating there were others close.
When the Night Elf felt the Healing Spell had reached its end, she jumped on her feet and instinctively grabbed for her blade. Jade was surprised to feel it was still there. She put it in a defensive position in front of her and looked around.
She was standing in a circular cell made of hard earth. It was locked of by a steel door with small square gaps. Opposite of the room, there was another cell, which looked exactly the same.
There were three people in her cell and two in the other. They all looked at her.
The closest to her was a female Tauren with brown fur. She looked like a beacon of peace. Jade recognized her as the Druid who had healed her. She had brown hair and two ponytails across her chest.
Sitting next to the Druid was a male Tauren with black fur, horns and skin. He looked menacing, but his expression was comforting. His large horns pointed forwards and his small, blue eyes observed her form their sockets.
The furthest away from her in the same cell was a Troll wearing a red robe. Next to his wild, green hair, the most interesting thing about the man was that his sharp face showed no tusks.
In the opposite cell the first one to draw her attention was another male Night Elf. He looked charming, he had purple skin, blue eyes, a blue ponytail and a beautiful white owl sat on his shoulder.
His cellmate was an Orc which was barely clothed. He was taller than he was wide. He had a large scar across his chest and a smaller one above his left eye. Even though he had massive tusks, his face looked smart.
The male Tauren was the first to react. His voice was deep. ‘Now now, my friend, do not draw weapons in fear of our supposed allegiance. We are all prisoners in the same prison’.
Jade refused to drop her weapon. ‘Where are we and who are you?’, she asked.
He replied; ‘Where we are, no-one of us knows. The Goblin and his Ogre companion attacked us and brought us here. Presumably, we are to become gladiators in a nearby arena. We heard the screams of spectators and the spilling of blood.’
‘I am Nervaun Grimtotem, but don’t let my last name fool you. I have since long forsaken my clan, as I did not approve of their practices and tactics.’
He then looked to the female next to him, and smiled. It was a warm, loving smile. ‘This is my beloved wife, Nela Earthwarden, Druid of the Cenarion Circle’. Nela smiled towards Jade in the same manner as her husband.
‘Over there’, Nervaun pointed towards the Troll in the other side of the cell, ‘sits my friend Mec’lan Shattertusk. He got that name when-‘, Mec’lan interrupted him. ‘When I impaled a Worm on mah tusks in Ragefire chasm. Trust me, it seemed like a good idea at da time.’
‘And how about the other two over there?’, Jade asked, nodding towards the other cell.
‘We don’t know’, Nervaun replied, ‘We haven’t been able to make contact yet. Now, lower your weapon and tell us who you are’.
Jade put the weapon back where it came from. These people obviously meant her no harm. And if she was to survive this ordeal, she could to use any help she could get. ‘Jade Fiss, of the Sentinel Army. I was on a mission trough the Barrens when the Goblin assaulted me.’
The moment she spoke the word ‘assaulted’, an arrow went by her head. It nearly missed her ear and plunged into the wall behind her.
