I just had a character trasfered to another realm. How long does the original profile stay on Wowhead?
Old:
http://www.wowhead.com/?profile=us.baelgun.bodybagphil
New:
http://www.wowhead.com/?profile=us.fizzcrank.bodybagphil
The old one does not exhist on "Baelgun" anymore. Can not resync eiter. But i can still search and find it on wowheads dataz. Is there a way to remove the character from the data, i have already deleted it from being claimed.

Currently we don't remove old profile data like that, since there's no way for us to immediately distinguish between "This char doesn't exist anymore" and "The armory was down the last time we tried to sync this guy".

Well, can go directly to the Armory itself by clicking the Armory link... Plus the profile says:
"Unable to resync from the Armory:
Character does not exist
. Try re-syncing this character."
I resync and it does not work, get that message again. Plus you may notice both characters are exactly the same, short of different guilds for obvious reasons.

The "Character does not exist" error only means "We looked on the Armory and couldn't find him." If the Armory is down for the day, you'll get the exact same message—and we certainly wouldn't want to go around deleting profiles just because the Armory happened to be down that day.

True, I understand that. But what about right now? I mean, the armory is online and working fine, every other profile can sync up fine. but going directly to the armory and still not finding it there...
My issue is, I don't want to be listed under two servers at the same time, and have people think i am still on that server.
Idea/Suggestion:
Maybe make a process where the profile gets deleted if it has not had a successful sync in so much time, or has had too many "not found" results. Would save you database space too, tho i'm sure you have tuns.

Oh I understand—it can be done. It just requires some careful juggling on our part to make sure we're only ever removing profiles that are legitimately gone. :)
