It did
not
cause you to fail your exams. Your refusal to do homework/study/prepare caused you to fail your exams. You don't have to play WoW.
Try telling your teachers that, though. I'm sure they'll be highly sympathetic!
Hasn't ruined my life at all. Possibly because I know when to log out, and can tell the difference between a game (with game consequences, OH NOES) and real life with...real consequences. Like not being able to apply to University programs we want. This is a lesson. Now find somewhere you
can
apply and be the best student you can - this means logging off of WoW once in a while.
Yes, it's a big consequence, and it's going to be upsetting for a while, but it's not the end of the world. You'll be fine.

Exactly...
If you kill 8 babies four cheetahs and a dog and claim you area addicted to killing you will still get the death sentence.
Actually, that would fall under being mentally unstable/insane, which most likely wouldn't mean a death sentence. ;)

In a sense it has turned me from a recluse into a social person once again.
so,typing to other people on a keyboard over the internet is considered being social?
wow, guess my idea of socializing is different now then what ive always thought
Um, yes, it is. Don't be ignorant.
Anyways, I don't know what the original post was, but I can get an idea. If you don't know when to log off, don't blame the game for your problems.
