The horde more 'human' then the alliance?

Its one of the reasons, I've found myself enjoying the horde as a people far more then the alliance.
To me, how the horde reflects itselfs seems far more human and down to earth then the alliance, and the alliance just seem to be more fantasy based in there concepts.
Considering races of the horde, Orcs - they can be savage and brutal and sometimes would punch you sooner look at you, but they also know whats important to them, like family, home, suvivial. Consider forsaken, certainly the most emo of all races, but we've meet people who are like them more in real life then ones like gnomes or night elves, the sort of people that enjoy seeing others suffer and laugh at there misfortunes.
Bloof elves another one, the kind who are metro in there fashion and styles, but @#$%^y to everyone else around them, acting tough but coming off somewhat camp in the process, I've know more people like them then anyone I can think of on the alliance side.
Trolls usually come off as slackers or lay abouts, prefering to spounge off there friends then do something more, god knows I've meet enough people before who are like that.
Actully, the only race on the alliance side that does come off as being slightly more real, are the dwarves, with the loutish drinking and want for fighting and all luxeries in life. I've never meet some architypal jock like humans pretend to be or the faultless hippie the night elves pretend to be.
This is why the horde means more to me then the alliance. For all the faults the horde have, they are more real with those faults, just like real people are, then anything the alliance has to its races. They are the real fantasy, what people would sooner pretend to be.

I honestly think it goes both ways. Both factions portray unique and different sides of real human society. Each faction has it's flaws and merits, just like real people.
I mean, take Varian for example, he could be seen as brash and hasty, yet he could also be seen as compassionate and caring. Much is the same for almost every character in Warcraft, in that they reflect real emotions and dispositions of real people.

^ This.
I'm currently thinking of an RP toon human who is an ex-noble, hated his decadent life so much that he pretty much slept on a quiet piece of grass wherever he found it. That sounds more nomadic, which makes me think of the Tauren. He had savage and violent characteristics, which sounds quite stereotypically Orcish. However, he is still human.*
*This is of course an example, I am not saying that all Orcs are savage beasts, or that all Humans live decadently.

Not really; both factions have their darker aspects, both have their light. The only difference between the Horde and Alliance are the race/skin colour stuff in all honesty. After all, you have Thrall who is almost a 'human in orc skin', while you have the more violent and vicious humans who could put the Dark Horde to shame; it's all relative.

This isn't about light or dark. Its about what seems more real in the terms of who they are. I've played both sides, and fact being, despite the green skin/fur/tusks and all that, the horde strikes me as being more like what I would expect real people to be like.

Really? How many people do you know who are always focused on honour and strength over all else? Honestly, if your comparing it to 'real' people, as in Earth, then your only focus should be on the gnomes. They are the closest to 'Earth' humans in ideals, thoughts, and technology lol.

In my opinion the dwarves, and to a lesser extent, the humans, seem more human to me. Perhaps it is the way I was raised/am now, but I connect with the humans, their religious views and determination. And dwarves, well, yeah...

I would actually say Dwarves much more, because Gnomes are 100% "Go go go blast 'em rockets." Dwarves are a mix of this, with History and Technology, and Religion (As shown by their activeness in the Church of the Holy Light.)

Ok here's something new. Against my earlier post, there is no "More human race" because every race represents a facet of human behavior. Gnomes: Driving force for change, inventors. Dwarves: Archaeologists and adventurers (Indiana Jones anybody?). Night Elves=Treehuggers, and yes we have those. Draenei: Religious people like me. Humans, a combination. Orcs: honor and strength. Trolls: Jamaican. Tauren: Native American. Blood Elves, are typical elves, their own culture. And Forsaken=Corruptness and such. (Ran out of ideas on Forsaken.)

Humans are prosperous people trying to defend their lands from invaders. Just think, in generations past, they've been invaded by Demons, Orcs, Dragons, and more. They are just as honorable, and protective as the Orcs. The giant statues in Stormwind obviously show how respectful they are of past heroes.
Gnomes are a smart race attempting to reclaim the city they've lost. A society built entirely around engineering skills, lost everything they had, and are trying to reclaim it. Seems pretty noble to me.
Night Elves are a traditional, tribal race of watchers, who make sure they can protect the lands they loved for centuries. Some decisions good, some bad, and some just rational. They have given up a lot such as immortality. I could imagine them wanting to bring it back.
Dwarves are a separated race based entirely around smithing, mining, and hunting. They are trying their hardest in the brashest of conditions to prosper as much as possible.
Draenei are a noble race attempting to protect themselves from falling into their demonic brethren's footsteps. They are using every force necessary to protect their people and lifestyles.
As said, it works both ways. Each race seems plenty noble, respectful, and realistic. They all want, fear, desire, and protect what is near them.
