Ok, I've been getting the normal keylogger mails which are easily differentiated from real Blizzard mails which I never open, however, when I try to access my account in Worldofwarcraft.com it says "Service not available". I checked my mail and got two that look like Blizzard's, but I'd like some help here:

First one might be legit, second one's not. What was the source e-mail from the first one? Also, run a spyware/malware/virus/etc scan on your computer to make sure it doesn't have something that'll steal your password.

Whenever I try to log in, I get "Service is not available", not "incorrect password".
First mail's sender is
WoWAccountAdmin@blizzard.com
and the second one is
wowaccountadmin@blizzard.com
. Is Battle.net down?

Battle.net's down. I just tried logging in, and I got the same error, but I can get a realm list by logging in via the WoW client. I highly doubt that either of the e-mails are from Blizzard. There are phishers out there that will use a legit-sounding email address, but there's usually something like a capital "i" instead of a lowercase "L", or a masked address (appears to be from Blizzard, but the real source can be found in the header).

You're a blessing, I mean, if Battle.net IS down. Ah, just when I got my Lich King shipped. Thanks to all who replied.
Anyone happens to know what email the real Blizzard uses when contacting you?

It does not matter what real address they use. an Email address is easily faked. What you are most concerned about is the website address. Folow these simple rules:
Always go directly to World of Warcrafts main site. (
www.worldofwarcraft.com
)
Always directly and manually type the URL.
Never click on a link inside an email, for the love of the light.. Never!
Never give anyone your username and password
If in question, quit, back out, and verify.
If the email has any misspelled words or bad grammar, it most likely a fake.
Invest in a $6.50
Authenticator key
. It will be the best $6.50 you will ever spend.
One other way to find out if a site is authentic, is to run a Whois report. Goto
www.whois.net
and fill in the box named "Whois lookup". If entering a address such as worldofwarcraft.com, you will get this as a result:

)

NS-EAST.CERF.NET
For complete domain details go to:
http://who.godaddy.com/whoischeck.aspx?Domain=WORLDOFWARCRAFT.COM
and when you navigate to the complete details, you will get this:

it's either wowaccountadmin@blizzard.com (used when corresponding directly with Blizzard employees) or noreply@blizzard.com (all automated responses come from here), but that information can be tampered with. By this I mean it's possible to craft an email that states it's from one place, but in reality is from another.
As for the emails
BOTH
are fake. Blizzard
NEVER
asks for your password.
EVER
.
The
legitimate
password change email looks like this:
Hello <Name>,
This is an automated notification regarding the recent change(s) made to your Battle.net account: <email address>.
Your password has recently been modified through the Account Management website.
*** If you made this password change, please disregard this notification.
However, if you did NOT make any changes to your password, we recommend you contact Blizzard Billing & Account Services for assistance keeping your account as secure as possible.
For more information, click here for answers to Frequently Asked Questions or to contact the Blizzard Billing & Account Services team.
Account security is solely the responsibility of the accountholder. Please be advised that in the event of a compromised account, Blizzard representatives typically must lock the account. In these cases the Account Administration team will require faxed receipt of ID materials before releasing the account for play.
Sincerely,
The Battle.net Account Team
