I'm not sure. It'll be interesting for sure to have focus, but hopefully this will stop some hunters from leaving Viper on all the time.
On the bright side, we won't have to carry water anymore, and pallies won't buff us with Wisdom.

Yeah, mainly for dungeons when everyone else is OOM I usually take a drink, since I don't want to spend half the dungeon in Viper.

The only real incumberance I can forsee here, is that you won't be able to use all of your rotation in as little time as the global cool down will allow.
Similarly to Rogues and even Warriors now; there is a sort of infinite quality to non-mana classes, but there is a period of time where you are either warming up (Warriors) or have to move slower based on regeneration.

i do, but only for use in dungeons, like if we gotta move fast.but to answer the question: HELL NO! im glad they're finally getting rid of mana on hunters

Think about it, where does a hunter, who shoots his (ranged) weapon and sends pet in, need magical willpower (yeah, you could think they are kinda magic arrows, but meh..) instead of just pure energy/stamina (or, why not focus). I think running in woods and shooting strains much more your physical strength, than mental powers or some sort.
It's a game mechanic, simple as that. They probably didn't have time to give the hunters their own unique system (thus why the pets use focus and we don't). But focus does make more sense; after all, to hit a target with a bow and arrow or gun you have to be focused.
Focus will be better though, now that I think about it. Mana may be considered "unlimited", but considering focus will regenerate constantly it's also unlimited. And there's an opportunity for talents to be introduced that will increase regeneration of focus of both you and your pet (I don't know why, but I can see something like that worked into
Kindred Spirits
).
And it might decrease the amount of bad hunters since the rotations might be a little more complicated and you'll have to actually put thought into what your next shot will be.
