no, holy has it worse. trust me on that.
Pre pull, pop Abolish desiese on the tank. It ticks for a while so should be fine. Always keep a shield up and use PoM every CD. Don't be afraid to use Pain Supression. You will need it.

Holy has it MUCH worse. I pretty much go OOM or halfway OOM on every big trash pull, as Holy. I've healed them all as Disc, and healed them all as Holy, and the only troubles I had were in HoR, as Holy, because of mana issues.

I think holy has it GREAT! That is to say, I freaking love it when the entire group is taking huge damage and i get to pump out massive heals. Don't get me wrong, I've dropped a clothie or two, but hey it's still waaaay more fun than healing stupid DTK or Gundrak.
What is the point in this post? it has no relevance at all to the OP saying "I dropped a clothie or two." If anything, it shows how abd you are at healing? And even mentioning DTK and Gundrak is just...meaningless? this type of dribble really is starting to get to me again.
Discipline is superior.

I healed the instances as Holy, then again recently as Disco. I will say that Holy definitely has a more difficult time in these instances because the Disco Bubbles really make a huge difference. It's almost a "set it and forget it" mentality for many of my DPS. My tanks definitely do require use of Pain Suppression if they're not really well geared. This I have definitely noticed.

3) Warlocks life tapping in between HoR waves. ZOMG I wanted to drive a stake through a warlocks heart when he kept doing this despite me asking him several times not to. He would do it 1 sec before a new wave. If I healed him I would instantly get all spawned mobs threat. If I didn't heal him, the wide aoe damage would kill him.
Warlocks get a benefit from using their Life Tap (when
glyphed
) just before entering a fight. It increases their damage done. Just throw a renew on them and hope they don't pull aggro. If they die from pulling aggro, don't feel bad, it wasn't your fault.

Tbh, I think it depends more on your gear
and
your group than your spec. My first attempt at H HoR was with an impatient tank in mostly ilvl 200-219 gear with a few pieces of 232. First he ignored all the ranged adds, telling the ranged dps (all in similar gear) to burn them down. After our first wipe, he started the event when I had about 60% mana
and
before I had buffed the group. I had to burn all my cooldowns in the first 5 waves just to get through it, then I ran out of mana during the second 5 waves while waiting for my fiend to come off cd. I was constantly having to GS the tank to keep him up and PoH to keep the dps alive. The tank got mad after that and left.
My second group had a much better tank. We got through the entire instance without my mana dropping below 75% and pretty much the only time anyone in the group's health dropped below 50% was during the dmg/healing debuff on Falric.
So as far as Holy or Disc? I'd say go as the one you are more comfortable healing with. If you are more accustomed to Disc, I'd recommend you stick it out. Holy is easier on aoe damage, but you have to manage your mana much more carefully.

Rank 1 life tap is meant to be used. Not rank instadeath ;)

This is still the locks being berks I'm afraid. Life Tap is the one spell I know that is worth down-ranking.
Rank 1 Life tap
works just as well as
Rank 8
in so far as activating the glyph (and also
IDS
, should they have it) without giving the healer a coronary in the process. The lock should regain mana during or right after a wave and if they need to refresh the GoLT buff then use rank 1.
That said, when I heal this I intentionally grab healer aggro and then hide in the corner, the tank then gets a pull on everything and can pick up before they clobber me.
