Some guildies and I were talking about sometimes having a nice quiet area to go quest/farm/whatever in and got me thinking about where the places would be that people rarely-if-ever have their hearthstone set to.
For Alliance I'd have to say Stonetalon Peak.
Horde is harder, but I'm going to guess Shadowprey in Desolace.
For a neutral town I'm guessing either Unu'pe in Borean Tundra, since there's no quests at all there, or Cenarion Hold in Silithus, since pretty much everybody hates Silithus and there's not much reason to go there anymore.
What do you think, or where have you never set your hearth to while playing WoW?

My hearth is set to Silithus on my mage...
Ya know, that's actually a good idea. We have portals to every city, and I just got
Argent Crusader's Tabard
. Now I have no use for a hearth.
OT: For Alliance, I would say Exodar. Horde, SMC.

What's kinda weird, is that I appear the be the only one on my realm to set his HS in the sewers
It's a perfect location, once you zone in theres hardly any fps lag and you have a bank like right next to you, and you can fly out almost instantly
I set mine on the top floor of the Legerdemain. You can only set your hearth up there if you wait for the wandering innkeeper to get up there. I've never seen anyone standing there when I hearth in except the odd person waiting for a book to spawn in that room.

I was going to say that Nethergarde Keep for Alliance would be a useless place to put a hearthstone, then I remembered that Blizzard agreed with me and didn't put an innkeeper there to begin with.

Silvermoon City.
It's practically deserted since we no longer go to the Isle of Lag'Danas (not that it's laggy anymore, but point stands), and there's plenty of mailboxes and 2 auction houses in easy to acess locales. And you can hop to Undercity from there with ease.I would guess few people use any of the faction cities as their hearth locations anymore due to dalaran and shattrath effectively being bound to all of them.

Orgrimmar is still densely packed, Undercity not so much but there's usually a few people about. Thunder Bluff is also deserted but it's pretty out of the way so I can see why.
I like SMC because it's lag-free, anything I need is easy to reach (inclduding the battlemasters, for times when we needed to queue that way), and I can skip over to Tirisfal Glades when I want to get back to Northrend without any hassle. Dalaran takes about 2-3 minutes to completely load for my PC, the lag is intolerable. I'm not a fan of Shatt because it makes more sense to use a Dalaran homepoint if I have to have the portals - what if I wanted to be in Northrend?
It's easy to name desolate, forgotten places that no one visits, but really, what's the point in setting your hearthstone in the middle of nowhere if you're not questing there? (I know this is a random point but pertinent to the thread)
Densely packed, yes, but how many of those 80s standing around there do you think actually set their hearth there? Probably not many.

Everlook In Winterspring, Light's Hope Chapel in EPL and Cenarion Hold in Silithus are the most useless at this point in the game.
No one actually quests in those zones anymore. I hope blizz revamps them in future expansions.

People working on achievements or mining run around those places all the time, especially Silithus.

I quested in Winterspring near the end of my 50's, prepping into outland, and It was a rather nice location. Lot's of quests related to Timbermaw Rep plus a ton of creatures to get my skinning ready for outland helped alot.

Yeah, I kind of ignored the capital cities when I was trying to think of them. True hardly anyone has a hearth there, but there's at least always people around. There's plenty of places where nobody has their hearth set there AND nobody's ever around.
Somone talking about the Netherwing stuff made me think probably any of the places in Shadowmoon. Unless someone is drake farming it's pretty much deserted. I still see some people in Netherstorm, but never Shadowmoon.
Same for Winterspring and Silithus. I do see people running around Winterspring before heading to Outland. Don't know if their hearth is set, but I don't even see anybody in Silithus anymore ever.
